He’ll threaten to take away your driver’s license when you describe your symptoms. He’s skeptical, but that’s understood. Don’t see this guy if you don’t have insurance. Not all of us are lucky enough to have Blue Cross insurance.

"The patient is acting spacey, vomiting, unable to get words out, definitely not herself." Neurologist Absher: "Give her a couple MRIs, an EEG, a prescription for seizures, an MT scan and then start over. But don't tell her any of the results. Just send her the bill." "The patient is in the ER after passing out several times." Absher associate: "I don't know. What do you want ME to do? I'd give her a magic pill if I had one." "The patient has had a spinal tap and now complains of severe headaches on top of previously mentioned symptoms." Absher: "We won't have the test results until about eight weeks. But tell her to come in and we'll examine her all over again. Then send her the bill. I'm going on vacation... again." "The patient is dead, Dr. Absher." Absher: "Tell her next of kin to bring her by in about three months. I'll be able to see her then."

My family is concerned about my shuffling gait, clumsiness, and frequent falls. When my friend looked up my medications I found these are all symptoms of side effects of my seizure medication, plus several other issues I deem not be as serious. I moved to a ground floor apartment last year because I was afraid I was going to fall down the stairs of my upper level apartment. Being unsteady on my feet and falling often is very scary and I almost always have healing small scrapes, cuts, and often bruises. I'm not yet 60 and he blamed it on my age and told me to stay off of the internet!

I have read all the reviews for Dr. Absher and cannot believe the negative feedback. People talk about his horrendous bedside manner and talking down to them like they were stupid. What do you want, a comedian for a doctor? Not me. I go to doctors for their knowledge and expertise. Dr. Absher is precise and to the point. In my opinion, Dr. Absher is brilliant and I will continue to go to him as long as he let's me. He's the only doctor that has figured out what's wrong with me. I am currently undergoing IVIG infusions at home and am very optimistic I will one day soon be able to walk again. I'm really tired of this wheelchair. As for his staff, I have found that every one I have dealt with is courteous and kind. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Absher to anyone.

I would not recommend this provider to my worst enemy! I was sent to him for a MS w/u. I have tremors, severe fatigue, leg weakness,and a plethora of other symptoms that all point to MS, since most everything else has been ruled out. He NEVER looked at my brain MRI, he was supposed to do an EMG on my legs but instead did it on my hands. He didn't listen to anything I had to say and his bedside manner was horrendous! So, if you want a dr that doesn't listen and treats you stupid, he's your man! I have been in Healthcare for over 20 yrs and I was appalled he still has a business!

Waited 11/2 hours after appointment time left. Of course told i''m next when decided to leave. Just stick your head in room and explain there is delay would have been nice. Waited over two months for appointment arrived with paper work filled out as ask. Usually don't write reviews but this was a bad experience. Not sure what problem was because nobody said anything except Dr will be in to see you.

Does not tell you anything. Staff does not do there job with records. And doctor doesn't listen to you as a patient. He acts as if he is better then you. We are all one race of people but I suppose poor uneducated sick get treated like this. Glad he is a god to himself.

Dr. Absher is an excellent listener and responds to my questions and concerns. He also is very good about explaining steps he is taking in my care. The front office staff are excellent and very helpful to any issues and concerns

I had just got done today visiting with Dr wilt and he was a sweetheart. He noticed my leg shaking and was concerned about this. He was wonderful and had a great bedside manner. Not sure who peed in those others cheerios. But they can only help you if you have something wrong. I seen dr absher and he was very talkative and thorough and very kind. I have been thru 3 terrible neurologist and they were terrible. These 2 have done more and explained more to me then any of others. I will continue seeing and going to these doctors. Unfortunately few have written bad reviews. Go to other neurologists and you will see what bad is. People now days think that doctors are supposed to be gods. They are just like us just alot of education and pressure. So be kind...... if you have one bad day and staff is a little slow give them a break. This is just my experience.

My daughter (14 year old) was recently referred to Dr. Absher. I read the reviews beforehand and was a little worried for my daughter as she is very tender-hearted. Office staff was extremely friendly. We waited for about 15 minutes in the waiting room...not a bad wait at all. Once in the room I totally understood why there was a slight wait....Dr. Absher spent a great deal of time talking to my daughter and making sure he had all the facts from her and from her previous tests, and previous doctor notes. He couldn't have been nicer. My daughter even said "he is now my favorite doctor!" He was just plain nice. Not over the top nice, which some doctors can be and it seems fake. He was just a nice, knowledgeable doctor. What more could we ask for really! I would recommend him to anyone in the future.
