Dr. John Fergus Alksne, MD

I live in Alaska. I had trigiminal nueralgia. This was 14 years ago. I suffered with it four ten years. I was allergic to tegretal the medication I was told would help with pain. So they experimented for years with different medications. They all quit working could not deal with pain anymore then I was told about Dr. Alksne. He told my husband as soon as we could get to San diago he would do the surgery on me. So we went. I have been pain free ever since. I woke up from surgery with no pain. I could not believe it. On my first visit, Dr. Alksn reviewed my previous x-rays and MRI and said that what I definitely had was Trigemnial Neuralgia and that he could end that pain. I said "Go ahead." He operated and no more pain. Thank you. Thank you.
