Where to start, Dr. Anderson probably needs A drug test! Before in cane to see. T daughter I listen to him & others talk about patients who couldn’t get more than 40 OxyContin because she gets Xanax & valum from her therapist! That the other person they talked about has to sign a pain contract because of his heavy OxyContin use. Any way so he comes in & I start telling him what’s going on and says he don’t want to hear it from me. I started to tell him she was special needs not a regular 13 year old. He put his hand up to me and said he is talking to her. She is having issues we are trying to figure out, I tried to say but was dismissed. My daughter scared just quickly pointed to the spot. I asked him if he had read her history and he didn’t respond. So he started asking questions abruptly like we were bothering him being there. I asked him to step out to chat so I didn’t do it in front of my child. I gave her history very quietly so she would here & he blurted our very loudly “SO SHE… IS ADOPTED”! So now she is very upset. They asked what things does she do & she nothing now. He says so that’s whats wrong you don’t do anything, try walking! I spoke up saying she tried to do things but it hurts her so she don’t do much. He well then physical therapy can teach you! Really? She just got done going to therapy and her back is curving to the right! My child is in tears, scared and said she hurts not faking it! He quickly said she is fine & I told him he just dismissed every doctor she has seen diagnosis. She was in AFO’s to help her feet & Achilles tendinitis so we did have to cut them, she has had AFO’s to straighten as much as they could to get her walking, he said no signs of any of that, ya think? I think after 6 years of correction we got it fixed. Anyway, my child is scared & sad, I’m angry & furious. In my opinion this doctor should never work with special needs children or any child for that matter!
