Dr. John David Angotti, MD

John Angotti has been my Doctor for over 25 years. He has treated me for several health issues in that time. He has always been a good Doctor for me. His staff has always treated me well. Some of the reviews I have read sound nothing like the man who has treated me.

I have had Dr. John Angotti as my physician for over 25 years. He has always been a good physician for me. I have had many issues over those years that I felt he handled well. His staff has always been fair and nice to me.

Even though I had been his patient for more than a decade, he dismissed or dumped me for being a "non-compliant patient" in spite of the fact that I presented myself to the local ER per his instructions to the PT who was treating me at the time. I was having severe upper back, neck & shoulder pain and very high BP; the ER diagnostics revealed small lung nodules. Dr. Angotti mailed a dismissal letter to me dated the same day as my visit to the ER. After receiving the letter, I called his office to learn why. While discussing the situation with his nurse, she asked me to "hold" then simply disconnected the call. I waited for her to call back; she did not. I then called their office again and explained to receptionist that I had not hung up on her and that the nurse could call me back if she had anything more to say to me. I never heard from them again and they cancelled my next appt. Still wondering why but suspect that the attending ER physician, Dr. Ackerman, misrepresented… information she took from me during exam. Neither doctor would discuss situation with me. Very unprofessional and insensitive of both doctors. Cannot recommend.

My mom and I both go to Dr. Angotti, and the receptionist that does the desk and makes the calls has been rude each time. She was incredibly rude to me when I took a call for my mom. When my mother called back to confront her, she was told she could no longer see Dr. Angotti and that I was a liar. Doesn't matter how good the doctor is if you can't get past the cold, inept, rude staff.

The staff should be fired! Rude, inept, and behave as if you're infringing on their personal time. Find another doctor.

My step dad was diagnosed with lung cancer by Dr. Angotti. He showed no compassion when he was delivering this awful news.

Dr. John Angotti has poor rapport, lacks empathy, close minded, dumb when it comes to holistic medicinal treatments e.g. states it's a waste of money to take organic multivitamins. He doesn't consider a patient's overall physical, mental, or emotional wellbeing before recommending treatment. His office staff is discourteous, & often makes mistakes in dosages of medication. Do yourself a favor, choose a better qualified physician!

I would highly recommend that you find a doctor other than Dr. John Angotti. I know of two cases where he mis-diagnosed patients and turns out they have/had terminal cancer. He belittles you and makes you feel that your illness is all in your head even when you have all of the obvious signs. Unfortunately, one of the cases has already lost their battle with esophageal cancer and the other has been battling stage 4 lung cancer for the past year.... too bad Dr. Angotti diagnosed the first patient with acid reflux and the second with bronchitis. Someone should file charges and get his license revoked!!!

This doctor misdiagnosed me and I believe it was in part to the fact that he didn't listen to me or take the time to fully examine me. His office staff is extremely rude and the wait time is horrendous. Plus, this doctor belittles patients and has no bedside manner.

Very personable. Knew his stuff and liked to teach in plain English. Fixed me right up.
