Dr. Appleton and his staff are great! He did my partial knee replacement and total hip replacement. He knows the problem and suggests different options, if possible, before deciding surgery is the only way to go. I had a different issue with my other knee and was worried that I might have to have surgery - he said it can be taken care of with physical therapy. Whew! So glad I found him! Very personable and has a great sense of humor.

Dr. Appleton & the staff were outstanding, my surgery was so very easy and the recovery was fantastic. I can walk without pain, a walker or cane. I am truly grateful that my physician referred me to Dr. Appleton.

I am 100% satisfied with with the results of my partial knee replacement surgery. Dr. Appleton worked to have my surgery scheduled on a timely basis so I could recover in time for my scheduled trip. The combination of Dr. Appleton's surgical skill and his prescribed physical therapy (which is essential for a full recovery), I was able to actively participate on my vacation with no pain.

I have been a parient of Dr. Appleton's for about 8 years. I have total confidence and trust in him and his team. He has worked with me in managing pain and keeping me out of the operating room. I know surgery is necessary as soon as some other factors are in place and rest assured he will be the one performing the total knee replacement. He is a gifted physician with a great bedside manner. I recommend him to everyone I know that is looking for an orthopedic surgeon.

Dr Appleton did a revision on my knee that was done wrong the first time, from a different physician, and made an 80% improvement for me! My first knee , done by another surgeon, was painful, swollen and unstable.. Dr Appleton did a revision for me and I will forever be thankful to him for his expertise on cleaning up a really messed up knee from the previous surgeon. I am still not totally pain free but at least I do not fall every other day!!! He was very patient and understanding with me, while at the same time not throwing my previous surgeon under the bus. Thank you Dr Appleton! I am so thankful that I found you!

I felt like he was undermining my condition and was rather rude with his prognosis. All I was looking for was some relief and I was given no hope.
