Dr. John Dale Armstrong II, MD

I was referred to Dr Armstrong after being diagnosed 10 years ago with retinal bleeding. He did laser treatment of my eye. I have gone to see him ever since and have been very impressed with his knowledge. He knows the retina (and diabetic retinopathy) forward and back again. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing an excellent ophthalmologist.

I was apprehensive about my appointment because I'd already seen my regular doctor and another specialist without getting a good diagnosis. Dr. Armstrong, and also his staff, listened to my description of what I was seeing. From that, they quickly zeroed in on the tests needed to confirm the problem. I was impressed by the advanced equipment they used. My regular doctor could not have diagnosed my problem without these tools. But the other specialist failed because he did not listen to my symptoms. Dr. Armstrong has a rare combination of skills: old-fashioned, caring medical practice that includes respect for the patient, coupled with the most advanced equipment and expertise. I left at the end of the appointment with a great feeling of relief!
