Dr. John M Augustin, MD

Dr Augustine was my moms Dr. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone, he doesn't no what he's doing. My mom came in a few times with a complaint of leg pain. This Dr didn't do the appropriate testing to find out what was wrong with her. He sent her home each time insuring her that nothing was wrong. My mom passed away a week later of blood clots from her leg travelling to her lungs. A simple doppler of her leg would have saved her life.

First, I waited too long to get to see him. I made the appointment at 9:15AM, but finally got to see at around 10:00AM. Second, he just went though the routine and didn't ask much about the condition. not worth of time and money.

I would not reccomend this doctor or his associate doctors at South Orange Medical to a friend. Even the receptionist is not what one would expect in a professional medical setting.

Dr. Augustin is a caring, brilliant physician with a wonderful bedside manner. He is a physician that personally cares about the well-being of his patients and I would trust him not only with my life, but with my family members as well. I highly recommend Dr. Augustin to anyone in search of a physician.
