Got the right diagnosis and was attentive to my concerns. Would recommend

Dr. Babb is excellent at the work he does, I had my knee scoped, I was in and out in no time back to work the next week.

My experience with Dr. Babb has been good. He did my knee surgery in 2012, and now I'm back for a shoulder issue. I have and would recommend him.

Dr. Babb and his staff at Mid-America Orthopedic did a fantastic job helping me through my recovery and rehabilitation from surgery on my elbow. Straight to the point with diagnosis. Explained the injury, the surgery, and the healing process in a way that could be understood.

Dr. Babb is a medical professional I never wish to see again. He has been repeatedly dismissive and disrespectful when speaking to me at my appointments. I had a knee surgery in March and from my first follow up appointment, he has been pushing me to have another procedure done despite making progress each physical therapy appointment. I got a significant skin infection from my multiple knee incisions and he refused to acknowledge how that could possibly hinder my range of motion progress. He has been rude about my choice of physical therapy location (when his location closed which is what causes me to have to change my provider). He has repeatedly talked down to me and spoken to me as if I were a child. He has mentioned my age several times and said that this surgery is normal for people significantly older than me - but this all stems from an injury when I was a teenager. When I have tried to explain my specific complications from knee surgery, he doesn’t listen and continues to… go back to the possibility of him going back in for other procedures when the procedures wouldn’t need to be done had he done his job correctly in the first place. I would not recommend this doctor for anyone unless you are searching for a dismissive, disrespectful, and arrogant doctor.

Everyone at MAO was fantastic. From the time I checked in, until I walked out the door, I felt all staff took care of me. Dr Babb is fantastic. He explained what is wrong with my knees, and came up with a great treatment plan to help me move better.

The entire staff was friendly and kind. The visit was very prompt, timely, and smooth. Dr. Babb was also very friendly, right to the point, and explained everything very well and concise.
