Dr. John Michael Barnes, MD

I am grateful to have Dr. Barnes as my podiatrist. Being diagnosed as a diabetic, my feet have needed care from a specialist in wound care and he is the one! I highly recommend him to anyone needing podiatry. He gives a good laugh too!

Dr. Barnes operated on my left foot for Morton's Neuroma twice. Neither of them helped; in fact they made matters far worse. Two years later the foot is in constant pain. Normal walking is very painful. The explanation I got was that sometimes it just goes that way. I would have been far better off not having surgery and living with the pain I had. I deeply regret having this surgery. I had a very active life before. Now I am nearly crippled. This was possibly the worst decision of my life.

It's easy to see why he was voted Portland's top doc! Very professional and took the time to collaborate on my treatment plan. I feel better already ! Not worth the time to see anyone else !
