Woukd rather let a baby die than do his job properly!

I believe Dr. Barrow has an amazing education and is very knowledgeable. I also know, every patient is different. You can’t treat every patient in exactly the same way. I was sent home unable to keep food or oral medication down, with unstable vitals and fever high enough to, in his post-op instructions, make a trip back to the hospital. All one day after a traumatic hysterectomy. A Mellon sized tumor inside my uterus, was removed. The whole hour that it took to get home, I regurgitated. It felt like my stitches were ripping. I only asked for an anti nausea shot for my trip home. He seems to think he has everyone figured out. He came to the hospital from his clinic with the attitude that I wasn’t following instructions. I had eaten, it came back up. I was trying to keep my oral meds down, but it wasn’t possible. He began scolding me for laying around, when I had, had 2 walks down the hall and had been taking myself to the restroom. The nurse was there to agree that I had been getting… up. He was scolding me for treatment that Iwas receiving from my Primary Care Physcian. I think we sometimes forget about some of the most basic, but important things about how to treat others. Things weare taught as children. Don’t judge others, you have no idea what their life is or has been like. And treat others the way we want to be treated, or better yet, the way we want our loved ones treated. If you’re young, have a normal, healthy pregnancy, I am sure he will be a perfect doctor for you. His credentials are very impressive. Lisa G.King

He's a wonderful doc. He's very busy, which means he's good. Easy to talk to. More gentle giving a pap than a woman. Babies come 24hrs. a day and he always has a nurse pract. to see you when he has to run to the hospital.

Dr. Barrow has been my OB for almost 10 years and has seen me through 6 childbirths.I have drove as much as 2 hours one way to see him because he is such a good doctor.Dr.Barrow does every thing he possiblely can to make sure you deliver a healthy full term baby,he does his own patients epidurals which means no waiting on anestheologist to relieve your contractions.I would recommend him to anyone,but know he tells you like it is & does not believe in scheduling inductions just because your tired of being pregnant like some Doctors do.His top priority is to Keep that Baby in the Momma as close to 40 weeks as possible,as long as there are no dangers or risk to Momma or Baby.

Dr. Barrow is a wonderful, caring man. He has a great personality and takes time to listen & make you feel comfortable. On a scale of 1-10 as 10 being the highest - I would rate Dr. Barrow at a 10! You just won't find a better OB/GYN doctor out there!

Dr. Barrow was awesome. He had a great bed-side manner and joked alot with us. He never made me feel uncomfortable like most male doctors do. We would absolutely go back to him again.
