Dr. John Belardo is a distinguished ophthalmologist who lectures internationally on cataracts, corneal disease, glaucoma, and oculoplastic surgery. He has participated in cataract missions around the world—including the United States—and was the first surgeon in Oklahoma to perform cataract extraction under topical anesthesia. Throughout his career, Dr. Belardo has remained at the forefront of surgical technology and techniques, having performed over 20,000 cataract surgeries and more than 40,000 vision-correction procedures.
In 2003, Dr. Belardo founded the Advanced Laser & Cataract Center, where he and his expert team have helped thousands of patients achieve their best possible vision. Their in-office, state-of-the-art operating suite accommodates self-pay patients as well as those with private insurance or Medicare.
