Dr. John Marshall Belden, DO

He is very caring and always attentive to patients. He truly cares. His daughter as well. My family has been going to them for years and I truly recommend

Dr Belden has been my doctor since apx early 1980's. He cares for the patient a whole not just health issues. I will change insurance companies to stay with him as my primary care doctor.

Dr. Belden is one of the few doctors on my AHCCCS insurance who had good reviews, so I went to schedule an appointment. Unlike any doctors office I have been to before, this office had to discuss my health conditions and medicatioms with Belden first.before scheduling an appointment. I was fine with that. They said they would call me the next morning and they didnt call me until they were almost closed the next day. So, I called them back today, and come to find out that Dr. Belden says "He doesn't believe in supplements or herbs can help people (which also means you dont believe having the correct diet helps people), that he doesn't prescribe anti anxiety medication or pain medication." "Well," I said, "I don't need pain medication and I am tapering off of Celexa so I don't need that either." I asked, "What does Dr. Belden prescribe, because it doesn't sound like he prescribes anytbing at all." I said, "You can tell him I used to be prescribed pain medication and all it did was… making my conditions worse. I switched from narcotics to herbs and supplements and I will not stop taking them just because Dr. Belden doesn't believe in them." No, I will not be scheduling an appointment. This was one of the very few doctors on my health insurance who had good reviews. I have made over 12 phone calls to find a doctor who will take me and no one seems to be able. Is this because I have AHCCCS? I don't know and I don't care anymore.

I have been going to Dr. Belden for over 20 years and lots of medical issues, he does what is best for you, not the insurance company, love the Dr.

Awesome doctor and great staff. I've been going there since I was 2 and now my daughter also goes to Dr Belden. Sad to see that his daughter Loretta has moved to a different office but love everyone here.

He and his staff left me hanging for over 3 hours on a simple prescription. They stated they are accepting new patients and would call me back after they had a time for my appointment. The call back was supposed to be within 30 minutes. After 3 hours I called them to see what happened only to be told Dr. Belden was busy and had not had time to look at his messages. They then told me they would call me back shortly after he had time to look at his messages. About 15 minutes they called back and told me he wasn't accepting new patients over the age of 40. They wasted my entire day and now I am unable to see a Dr. until Monday. Extremely bad discourteous service. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Would sooner die than have to see another Dr! Been Dr Beldens patient for about 25 years - care about my treatment (not office or local) He is the best diagnostician ever . Should be given award EVERY year - but he doesn't really care about that crap. He sees the mother with a sick child - No insurance or $$ has managed to keep me alive all these years in spite of myself!
