Dr. John Benkovich earned a bachelor of science degree from Pennsylvania State University. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Maryland Dental School, he entered into an orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville. In addition to becoming certified in the dental specialty of orthodontics, he also conducted original research for which he earned a master’s degree in Oral Biology. He continues his studies today by attending numerous orthodontic educational courses yearly to help him in attaining his goal of providing quality orthodontics.
Dr. Benkovich is the cofounder of the Occlusal Study Club, which concentrates on comprehensive dental health and the multidisciplinary approach to solving dentistry’s most difficult cases.
He is also a member of the following organizations:
American Association of Orthodontists
Maryland State Society of Orthodontists
Mid-Atlantic Society of Orthodontists
American Dental Association

Dr. Benkovich’s practice is limited to orthodontics exclusively.
