Not.a.good experience.no exam. Information document mentioned tests not done by Jim which was not correct. Not a nice bedside manner at all.very judgemental without knowing the facts of past surgery.

Love Dr B. He has helped treat my headaches, neck pain, and multiple back issues with injections. Dr B listens and I don’t feel hurried at my appointments. Highly recommend

Dr Bete is fantastic. After being bounced around from doctor to doctor he actually took the time to sit down with me and find out where my pain was coming from, he listened to everything I had to say and we properly determined the cause of my pain and solved the problem.

I’m a 58 year old extreme athlete with multiple issues physically. (Back, hip, shoulder and knees) Dr. Bete understands what makes me tick. He’s given me my life back and continues to do so. I’ve been a patient for over 2 years and I will continue to do so!! That Dr.Bete and staff, you’re amazing ???????????

I had several vists at the pain clinic. 1). I did not meet The doctor until the third or fourth visit. Wendy , nurse practitioner, was who I saw prior. She seemed to be the one directing my treatment. Dr Bete actions were based on her directions. 2) Dr Bete did the injections. He asked me where I wanted the injections (??). When I said my pain radiates from the right side of my back, he asked me if I was married, and said for me to have my wife circle the areas of my back with pain for the next injections (why have MRI's). 3) I had trigger point injections, Botox, and steroid treatments. After each one failed to improve my pain, I was asked if I wanted to try the injections again. NO WAY. 4) admin area was poor. They did not go for pre-approval for my Botox injections which prompted me to cancel my injection on the day scheduled. 5) two years later, I just received the bill. 6) final recommended treatment was Aspercreme, and ibuprofen. I still have pain. All for the $5k… plus that was charged to the insurance. Not recommended.

Avenues to deal with pain, doc has a good clinic going on, should be a first approach to the topic imo. Testing known arthritic symptoms first could be a first step to recovery. His clinic list for the tests in my case is short, and very productive. Very interesting.

He was very good at explaining the various options and procedures with the pros and cons to all. He made sure all of my questions were well answered prior to the procedure. During the procedure he explained what he was doing while he was doing it. I highly recommend him and would see him again if needed.

I didn’t even get beyond the appointment making phone call. The receptionist was rude, she was asking questions to assertion a history and then talking over me as I tried to answer them. It felt more like an interrogation. When I spoke up she was even condescending in her apology. I am a nurse and I chose not to see this Dr as my experience was poor in the 1st 5 min on the phone with this office.

Have seen Dr. Bete 2x, and Wendy 1x. They really didn’t listen and did most of the talking. Dr. Bete didn’t even examine me. He was clear that he may not be able to help me, but keeps offering same treatment that hasn’t worked. And states that someone else may possibly be able to help, but couldn’t tell me who or recommend a neurologist. And wants me to keep coming back for office visits when there’s nothing he can do. Not impressed with this pain clinic.

I was very impressed with my first visit with Dr. Bete. He took his time with me, and explained in detail the possible causes of my pain and the different treatment options available. He wasn't in a hurry and I felt that he cared about me and my pain. He assured me that he could help me and I believed him. I don't know who these other reviewers saw but it was not the same person I met with. Everyone I saw at the center was pleasant and there was very little wait time. I left feeling that I had come to the right place, and look forward to returning.
