In my lifetime I have NEVER encountered a doctor that was as arrogant & uncaring as this doctor. I was referred there by a family member. I have two adult sons & neither of them would ever talk to any older woman as he talked to me. I would NEVER recommend Dr Blake to anyone!

If it were your family members you would do anything to help. We are treated like criminals and I understand some of it. But those of us that follow the rules suffer for the sins of others . Please treat us like human beings just trying to make it one day at a time and go to our jobs and be moms and grandparents. The very thing I need they won’t give me because I made a silly mistake. One strike and I’m suffering the rest of my life. No second chances. I’m glad the whole world doesn’t run this way. It might before long. Please just remember there are GOOD people that come to you and we depend on you and we thank you ??

No concern for the patients they worry more for themselves then they do the patients they lied, they rude they treat the patients like they are pill junkies or drug dealers this is not a good pain management facility I will not recommend anyone the entire staff is awful.

Had a great experience with my back surgery

Not patient orientated; orders ridiculous procedures without concern for cost; does not listen and is not patient focused. Office has uncomfortable chairs and is antiquated. Staff is good and considerate. Had to buy a stupid Opiod savior Narcan for $135.00 and a lock box for my meds. Do I have to carry the Narcan or lock it up?

People in severe pain cannot sit for 2 hours in a waiting room! Why make appointment times when you overbook or have no intention of seeing patients at their appointment time?

I have been to his office many times for my back pain. However, I only saw him once when he was asking me to try epidural block. I don't like injections at all. Unfortunately, I ended up giving a pain patch to try. It does not help me at all. Totally disappointed.

BEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER HAD

I have been using Specialists In Pain Management for 1 year now. Dr. Blake and staff are very knowledgeable in all aspects of pain management. All the front staff, nurses, schedulers and chemists are nice and friendly. I can say this because I have used two other pain management practices in town. Each one of the other practices was prior to me have a surgery. One, a hip replacement and two a spinal fusion. This is a very busy practice. From the waiting room things my appear like nothing is going on, but behind the doors they are busy as bees. In this field of work, every "i" must be dotted and every "t" must be crossed. I recently got an injection here that nobody else in town does. Forty (40) minutes is not along time to wait and in fact you get a dose of laughter in the waiting area. The "Golden Girls" are on the television! "Laughter" is one of the best medicines. I don't always rate doctors, but when I do, I am sincere.

If you are looking for help with your chronic pain issues, this is the place to be. If you are looking for someone to prescribe the meds and dosages YOU think you need, go somewhere else. This is a practice that implements multiple approaches to managing chronic pain. Dr Blake is Board Certified and Fellowship Trained- something you definitely should look for when choosing a pain Doctor. He is a kind and caring person- something else you should be looking for. HE LISTENS. They work with many different insurance plans and are one of the few pain practices in the area that you can go in for an initial consult without a… referral. Chronic pain is a nasty, insidious disease that affects the life of the patient and their family in many ways. If you suffer with chronic pain, you already know this. Can you be healed completely and live totally pain free? Believe it or not, it is possible! Unfortunately though, it is not the norm. The idea behind treating chronic pain is to help give you the tools that help you manage your pain better, and hopefully get back the parts of your life that you no longer can do because of your pain. Will there be things you will need to try that may not work as well as you want them to? Changes in medications to fine tune your treatment? Frustration? YES THERE WILL. There is no magic bullet, one size fits all treatment for chronic pain. The good thing is, almost all these treatments are reversible. You don't like the way your treatment is going and you've given it a fair shake and a decent amount of time, find another practice.
