Dr. John Michael Borkowski, MD

This so called doctor is a jerk. Very rude and incapable! He had to do a simple surgery twice in two weeks and refused to help me when I returned for a consultation a couple of years later. He is not certified in Texas but in Canada and, in my opinion, should return there. Do not call him if you want a capable doctor!!!!!

This dr is rude and unprofessional!!! He wouldn’t even look at my MRI or X-rays just called me a liar when in fact I was referred for a reason by my PCP. What a disappointment, I thought he would have some sort of bedside manner instead he began yelling at me for no reason it was so humiliating and the entire staff and waiting room were listening. I am so disgusted.

I started seeing Dr. Borkowski back on 2017. I was diagnosed with C5 and C7 deterioration. Dr. Borkowski was very well knowledgeable on what I was going through and explained all the process. What I like about this Doctor is that he doesn't push you to have surgery, he mentioned I will eventually will needed surgery on my neck but to do it when I was ready for it. He gave me some pain medication to relief my pain till I was not able to tolerate it anymore. It took me almost a year before I decided to have surgery on my neck. He's an amazing doctor! He explains with details everything that is going to happen during and after surgery. I'll be honest after the first month of surgery I still didn't see the change but doctor "B" gave me the confidence I needed and helped me to be more patience, he also explained to me that everything is a process and things will get better as time goes by. He referred me to therapy and after almost a year after surgery I can say. Dr. Borkoswki thank you so… much for what you have done! I can trust you and I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Borkowski. I know he doesn't do miracles but he takes cares of his patients before and after surgery and I feel so much better now. Thank you Dr. "B" you are my 5 star doctor. I also want to give you kudos for the friendly staff you have in your office and for all you do. Thank you! Thank you Dr. "B" :)

Went in for consultation about spinal stenosis. He explain what another doctor fail to do. We were very please with doctor, very concern for my pain relief, polite and sweet. Thank you.

Ability to listen, clarify and explain the problem presented. Looks at all interventions not making surgery the primary if not needed and refers when needed

Sent home with inadequate pain control after surgery. Very unhappy. Total crap.

Dr. Borkowski removed two discs from my neck and fused three vertebrae. I was in unbearable pain before the surgery. The surgical nurse who wheeled me back told me that if she were to need this procedure, she would have him do hers. I had this surgery 10 years ago. I have had no pain and it's been perfect. He's the best!

Dr Borkowski has seen my father, my wife and both of my sons. He has always been extremely professional, courteous, and polite to me and my family. I work in the hospital and have taken care of the patients of other dr's in town and his patients always recover quicker and have less pain.

I had terrible back pain from which I was told was a vertebral compression fracture. Dr. Borkowski added me to his schedule asap and treated me within a couple of days from seeing him. I was out of the hospital that same day and I have had no back pain since. I would recommend this doctor all my friends and family!

He made a mess out of my neck. I have to have another doctor remove his mess, redo it, and fix another disc that he should have fixed that is now crushed. I've had nothing but pain and horrible migraines since he touched me! Next time I'm going to someone who is board certified. I felt I needed to make this comment to help prevent others from going through the same tragedy.
