Dr. Braun and his team at Mass General we’re beyond amazing. Our daughter had a rather severe curve and I have never met a Dr. who spent so much time, energy and genuinely cared about the outcome of the procedure. This is a man who has dedicated his life to bettering that of others and treats you and your family like his, not just another “case”. If you are told fusion is the only option for your child, dig deeper and look at the options available. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this life changing option. You are a blessing to our daughter’s life!

Dr Braun is amazing. He did a wonderful job on my daughters spine surgery !!

A friend of mine who sells medical equipment in Boston insisted that I see Dr. Braun - said that he is a gifted, internationally recognized surgeon and in the middle of Vermont. Well, my friend was right. Dr. Braun was able to fix my back (other surgeons seemed to make it worse), I have no pain, and he treated me with respect and care.

I am so happy we finally got to see Dr. Braun! We heard about him through a friend who went to him after not getting optimal care in Boston. I am from the Burlington area and am worried about the lack of skill by the spine surgeons at UVM, and was really put off by Dr. Monsy's dismissive bed side manner. My back pain is completely gone, and I have never felt so cared for by a doctor

Dr. Braun performed two spine surgeries on my daughter to correct scoliosis. We traveled 14 hours (OH to VT) because he had experience with an innovative surgical technique. He is truly the most professional, kind, compassionate and talented physician you will ever meet! I also had the pleasure of working with his father many years ago, a medical doctor, and he was unanimously regarded by all of us hospital nurses as the most intelligent and caring physician. I now know his son takes after him. :) Thank you Dr. Braun for everything you do to improve the lives of your patients. We are fortunate that you operated on our daughter and will always give you the highest recommendation possible. Too bad there isn't a category called "best of the best."

Dr. Braun is one the most caring, compassionate orthopedic surgeons I have ever encountered. He genuinely cares about his patients which is obvious through his willingness to explain things to his patients and really listen to what his patients are saying to him . He is very gentle and his bedside manner goes Above and Beyond. CVH you sure are lucky to have a kind hearted orthopedic surgeon of his calliber.

I was in a roll-over accident in Idaho in 2000. I suffered breaks in C7, T1,2,3, and 5. I was airlifted to University of Utah hospital. Of course, all of the interns were sharpening their scalpels, But Dr. Braun decided, after additional X-rays and and MRI, not to do surgery. I wore a clamshell brace with neck support for 4 months. Now, 13 years later, I remain forever grateful to Dr. Braun. I have very little pain and full range of motion. Many friends who have had back surgery have had ongoing issues, so I feel that Dr. Brauns decision was dead on. Thanks!

I just love Dr. Braun he takes the time to listen. He is the most caring doctor you will ever come across. I have been a patient of his now for the past 4 years and i can't say enough good things about him. If you are looking for an excellent doctor that is very caring, courteous and will do his very best to fix your problem than you need to look him up! You will not be disappointed. I couldn't ask for a better doctor!

I found Dr. Braun after a long search, I am a 51 yr. old with severe scoliosis spanning from T4 to L3 with severe degenerative changes in L3-4, L4-5, andL5-S1. Severe pain to the point I thought I would never walk again. My first visit to the Dr. he told me he could not only make my pain go away but he could make me stand streight, I was hopeful. After surg. the pain was gone and I stand straight for the first time in my life, I do continue with some numdness in my back and legs and feet but I can live well with this. My surg. date was 11-4-2010, I had one follow up with Dr Braun and then he was gone TY Dr. Braun for my life back, hope you are well

Dr, Braun gave me back my quality of life. I was in severe pain from scoliosis. I had surgery as a child 40 yrs ago, but had developed terrible pain as an adult. I was living on percoset! Dr. Braun performed 3 surgeries on my spine that have made me a new person. I now take no pain killers and live an active life. Dr. Braun always took his time with me and did a great job explaining things every step of the way. I would recomend Dr. Braun to anyone having spinal problems.
