Dr. John L Brazill, MD

I have seen Dr Brazill for several years now. He cares about his patients and has always made sure to treat them the same.

I had an appointment for 8 am and arrived at 7:30. The office wasn't open yet so I waited in the hallway. After a few minutes another patient showed up and began to wait as well. Then another patient showed up to wait as well. We all had 8 am appointments. The staff opened the door at 8:02. I filled out my COVID-19 paperwork and waited at the desk. About 10 minutes later the receptionist showed up and greeted one of the patients by name and grabbed her file and placed it in the rack for the nurse. Then she grabbed the other patients file and put it in the rack. At 8:30 she asked for my name. After I told her my name I explained that I had an 8 AM appointment and I was waiting since 7:30 before anyone else. she said just go have a seat and They'll call you. Then they proceeded to call the other two patients first. The one patient even told them to take me first because he could wait. They call me in at 8:38. I went into the exam room and told the nurse that I have to be at an… appointment for work at 9. She just closed the door. At 8:50 I called my client to try and reschedule by leaving a voicemail. Then I called my boss who was upset because I was trying to reschedule the appointment. Fearing the consequences at 8:48 I left the exam room and told the nurse I needed to reschedule and I was upset about the situation. She asked if I could come back tomorrow. I said no I can't. She said what about 1pm today? I agreed and was turning to leave and I almost bumped into the doctor coming in the side entrance. He was just arriving at 8:55 am! Now I can understand if he had an emergency but why not tell me? At 12:30 I arrived for my 1 pm appointment and was brought back to an exam room at 1. The doctor came in at 12:09 and was visibly upset. When I said that I was sorry I didn't have time to wait in the morning he said that I should be upset because of how badly I treated his staff. I told him that it's rude and unprofessional to not communicate to your patients. If you had an emergency you should let your patients know and reschedule if they can't wait. He opened my file and asked if I was going to have my second procedure and why did you come in for your post procedure appointment without having your procedure. He had done both of my procedures within two weeks of each other. Apparently he didn't remember and maybe it wasn't documented in the file. I am scared to go back if he doesn't even remember doing my procedures. He is very old though. When I questioned him he got even more upset and closed the file. He said well if you feel better now you can make another appointment if you start hurting again. I asked if he wanted to see the injection sites he said no. Then he left the exam room. I feel relief from the treatment but will never go back to this office again. Scary that the doctor doesn't even remember a procedure he performed two weeks before. And all staff and the doctor so unprofessional and unpleasant. Find another doctor.

My husband and I both see Dr. Brazill for different pain issues. He has helped us both! My husband has knee problems that he has helped him with and I have more difficult pain issues that other doctors have given up on. Dr. Brazill always listens and never gives up!! I am very thankful for him!!

Dr. Brazill seems to be a good Doctor (mechanic) but is not very good at communication. No verbal exchange since first visit. Had to learn the hard way that his staff is inept, dismissive, and overall unconcerned. Their level of incompetence is only exceeded by their level of indifference. Near impossible to get pre or post surgery instruction via telephone and when I finally got through the archaic internal phone system, it took six calls over a three day period before being favored with a very unfriendly call back.

Staff is RUDE and LAZY! Front desk does not know anything and would transfer your call for any questions or concerns. You always have to leave a voicemail but will not get a return call from to them. Dr Brazill is awesome. He just need to train his staff or hire new ones for improvement.

The staff is not friendly at all they treat every patient as if they are drug addicts am the patients spouses who don’t even go their they treat just as low if not lower than the patient I recommend doctor khourys pain management very friendly staff an doctor

They treat you like a drug addict! I’ve been going to pain management for over 15 years ! I have never run out before my due time nor abused taking my meds! The staff is extremely rude & talk down to you like your a second class citizen! Every time I go in even though I have an appt it’s @ least 45 minutes to an hour AFTER my appt! They never apologize & then you are lucky if you see the Dr for 10 minutes!! Last time I had an appt they called me & said my Dr had called out sick but that they would give me my scripts for the next two months & said I could pick them up that afternoon but when my husband got there to pick them up they said they couldn’t give me my meds because I had not seen the Dr in two months!! They never called me to tell me that by the way and they were the ones that changed my appointment!! It was the end of the afternoon so now I would have to come in the next day & see the Dr for my meds( mind you At this point I am completely out of medication!!) so now I have to… call in to work & tell them I had to miss work for a Dr’s appt!! Soooo when I go in for the appointment the next day the front desk informs myself & 10 other patients that now 2 Dr’s have called in sick & we would not be able to get our prescriptions As there was NO Dr there to sign prescriptions!!! Day 2 of NO pain meds!! Missed work& no results!!! The staff was unbelievably rude, unapologetic & down right MEAN to all of us patients & informed us we would have to wait till Monday 3 more days to get our prescriptions!!! This was just par for the course for these people!!! Do not WALK,RUN as fast as you can from this establishment!!!!!!!

I have never been to such a rude, unprofessional, unorganized office in my life!!! They act like you are a burden to help. Getting your prescription, making an appointment or just getting a question answered is almost impossible, the only thing they have to offer is service, and they are very poor at it! I have been placed on hold for more than 15 minutes and then told to leave a message, never to get a call back, this is unacceptable. Dr Brazil need to realize the office behavior is a direct reflection on him, and he needs to do something to improve it. Dr Brazil is a good Dr, but putting up with his office is not worth it. I will be looking for a new Dr. He needs to clean house in more ways than one, his office staff is rude and his office itself is dirty!

Awesome Doctor. Caring and knowledgeable Office staff needs a do over but he's awesome.

The Doctor's are excellent, but there office staff are rude and very unprofessional and unorganized. They make you feel like you are a burden to them.
