Dr. John David Bream, MD

Excellent . I was taken to ER Labor Day weekend due to having a hole in my forehead. (I fell face first onto an antique watering can) The nurses were awesome and kept me laughing. Dr. Bream entered and stated I was going to have an ugly scar . I would love to post a picture if I had that option,but that scar is barely visible 5 months later. Dr. Bream did a magnificent job .

Dr Bream was very intelligent and knowledgeable. I appreciated his honesy. Going to the ER is always going to be a wait and a lot of people don’t understand that. But having a Dr that knew what he was doing and talking about made the wait time better, granted I only had to wait less then an hour and a half.

This Dr (John Bream) was at best containing an attitude that I was ignorant of any data on my Diabetic condition. He acted as though I was a waste of time for him and advised me that my regular doctor (K Maramraj) should have my blood sugar under control and that he should prescribe what was needed and then ask me to come back in 2 weeks to check on my progress. I have done this. I have only been to Dr Maramraj a few times and he is indeed making every effort to help me. When I came into the ER my blood sugar was reading 500+ and had that day read HI which means it could no longer be measured by my glucometer. The blood reading on that blood specimens was 515 and Dr Bream noted that to me. This doctor has a lot to learn about hour he speaks to patients when they come into the ER distressed and have body issues which are dangerous. Dr Bream was very nice when he came back to tell me I could leave and my daughter remarked that he sure did change his attitude. The only… reason he was nice and I am sure of this is that he considered me ignorant and considered me a waste of time. He needs to be written up for his attitude. When people come to the ER they want to be made to feel comfort and secure. He did the exact opposite.

He said I didn't have an infection and he didn't run any tests. I got Gangrene and lost half my foot. Sorry excuse for a Doctor!!! CMC Union ER.
