John W Brinker, DO

Just found this site and wanted to voice my opinion. Have been going to Dr Brinker for many years now. Started with my daughter then my wife and then me. He has always shown professionalism, dedication, care and patient concern. After both hip replacements by an orthopedic surgeon he visited me very often in the hospital and has always listened to my comments and concerns and always given his opinion on what I should do to get in better shape and stay healthier. Never pushed or shoved me but again voiced his concerns if I didn't listen to him. I would gladly refer other patients to Dr Brinker because he seems genuinely concerned about his patients. I do agree that a few years ago his staff seemed more concerned about talking to each other rather than helping the patients and answering their questions but this may be resolved now that their facility name has been changed and new support staffing is also there.

Dr. John Brinker is a very caring and professional doctor. He listens while you talk. He is an excellent doctor and fine young man

Called up new to the area, Dr, Brinker online says he Welcomes New Patients. His receptionist asked about my insurance which was acceptable but told me he will NOT meet with me even though I offered to pay for initial visit. Do the Doctors actually know what their staff people are saying, duh! YOU CANNOT GET IN TO MEET A DOCTOR TODAY. The do NOT care! Great place to live the Poconos.

While Dr. Brinker is an excellant doctor, his staff is very unprofessional, uncaring, disorganized and rude. They have the personalities of a dial tone, and are as lifeless as zombies. In short they act as if they could not care less about the patient. Too bad Dr. Brinker will never know how many patients he has lost due to his staff. I will search for a new physician in the Lehigh Valley area where there seems to be a standard of professionalism.

I have recommended Dr. Brinker to anyone looking for a new primary physician. I have seen him for over 5 years and he never has speeded me along, giving me the time I need and addressing all my concerns. He greets me with a hearty handshake, looks in my eyes and listens to me. He always makes me feel as if I am only patient.
