Dr. John Patrick Brosious, MD

Dr. Brosious did an amazing job on my surgeries! Just short of a year ago I had extra skin cut off and hernia repair. I was cut from my chest bone down to my pelvis, then across my pelvis touching my back from left to right. It was a really big surgery, actually 2 big surgeries in one. Both were high risk surgeries by themselves, let alone doing them together. Dr Brosious was amazing before and after. He answered all my questions amc then some, took his time, him and his staff kept up on me. When I was worried he reassured me and from the beginning let me everything step by step. I was so pleased with his work and because of my health situations I've had to deal with a lot of doctors. So I feel I'm a real good judge of character when it Congress to doctors. It's sad to say but good doctors are really hard to come by, but he is definitely one of them! I'm not sure if he'll read this.. But I'm going to say thank you again.

This talented doctor put my life back together when he performed chest surgery on me last fall. I have struggled with gynecomastia for years and he was able to get me in quickly. He was thorough, knowledgeable, skilled and most importantly kind. He treated me with dignity and respect. His surgical ability is far and above that of any other. My scars will be barely noticeable and he has always made time to answer my questions in follow up. If you are looking for a the best you have found him!

If I were to conduct a thorough nationwide search for the best plastic surgeon to perform my skin graft procedure, I couldn’t have found one better than Dr. Broscious! He partnered with my Cervical Spine surgeon to perform a miraculous, complicated, life threatening, 7 hour procedure which involved encasing the C2-C7 vertebrae in a metal plate, then securing with screws, followed by Dr. Broscious’s skin graft using a backflap from the left side of my back to completely cover the exposed area of the back of my neck. Dr. Broscious clearly explained the procedure he was planning and showed me a couple photos from similar procedures he had performed. He was very confident and professional which was of great comfort to my wife and me. I am pleased that I have experienced no pain or discomfort as a result of the procedure and am delighted that I’m healing quickly!

I was in an explosion in 2014 and needed skin grafts to my face hands legs and back . I was flown to Pittsburgh upmc were the staff is the best. Dr Brosious put me back together. It has been 5 years and I get so many comments on how lucky I am and how good my grafts look . He is very kind and makes you feel like you are the number one patient. He keep me and my family informed at all time on what he was doing next to improve my burns .i had my hands in splints for about 3 months and one thing that stays with me is . I was not sure if I would be able to use my hands again . And dr Brosious said he will do every thing he could to get my hands working again , and said he would be shaking my hand soon. Well after a few more weeks he did. He was the first to shake my working hands after my accident. He is a man of his word and good at what he dose. I highly recommend him. I had excess skin removed from my stomach after losing over 100 lbs. He is a true artist and was able to reconstruct my entire stomach, the scars are barely visible and he made my body look completely natural. I was so relieved once I healed up, I had a fleur de lis abdominoplasty and my scars are hardly noticeable. He's also incredibly kind and caring. He gave me his full attention every single time I visited with him and listened to my needs as a patient. Dr. Brosious changed my life with hernia surgery on Jan. 17th 2019. I cannot say enough about Dr. Brosious from start to finish. When other surgeons hesitated or refused to do my complicated surgery he always said he could do it successfully. He recommended a fantastic surgeon to assist him ( Dr. Saint Hill ) and the long surgery went off without a hitch. He visited me in my hospital stay several times after the surgery and took time to answer any questions I or my family had. Dr. Brosious is a true blessing and I thank him from the bottom of my heart.

He is one of the most caring Doctors I have ever been too. He takes the time to hear you out with your concerns or questions. He is always thorough. He is my go to Doctor now for anything to do with reconstruction or cosmetic.

Dr. Brosious performed hand surgery from severe burns in my mom. He e to repair nerve endings, amputate and major skin graphs. He was the kindest, most genuine doctor my six siblings and I have dealt with in years regarding our parents. If there were 10 stars we’d give him 10.

Dr Brosious was incredible, I was experiencing extreme back pain from my very large breasts. Within 3 weeks of our first consultation, he had my surgery approved by my insurance and I was scheduled for my Breast reduction surgery the next week. He was so understanding and his bed side manner is incredible, so patient and took his time to explain everything. The surgery was a huge success and I feel great. I am recovering very nicely. I have wanted this surgery for at least 20 years and Dr Brosious made it happen for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart helping me with this journey for a healthier life.
