Dr. John Robert Burge, MD

Several years ago, while at the hospital, Dr. Burge, was called in to provide a consult. Since then, he has remained one of my most cherished physicians whenever I need help. He also possesses many unique qualities such as being able to gather and evaluate a patient's condition quickly. Add to the list of attributes, Dr.Burge does not rush his patients and possesses a sense of humor. He w Kudos to ants to be absolutely sure that he does everything within his course and scope to help his patients recover and move forward with their lives. His primary concern is that his patients receive the best treatment possible. The care that Dr. Burge rendered to me this past weekend was excellent, as always. I applaud this caring and devoted medical professional. Keep up the great job. I highly commend you!

I didn’t like him at first-too cocky (seemingly). After a few visits I grew to adore & respect him greatly. He definitely saved my life.

I can't answer the questions about Dr Burge's office because Dr Burge took care of me in the hospital. I loved him. He spent a lot of time with me and is an excellent Dr. I would not hesitate to refer him to anyone.

Dr. Burge saved my life. When the hospital found him for me, I was in a coma and dying of valley fever. I went from 130 lbs to 175 lbs in 3 weeks then down to 85 lbs in the months following. They thought I was dying of terminal ovarian cancer. Dr. Burge diagnosed it as valley fever and brought me back to health. I am a 35 year old female with one 15 year old daughter, now weigh 115 lbs at 5'5" and am now totally healthy after a year and a half of valley fever treatments (amphotericin B). I was sick in 2004 and am finally feeling healthy again. My hair has grown back really lush (the treatments caused me to lose my hair and a brief paralysis). He is the kindest and smartest most loving doctor you will ever meet.
