Dr. John Donald Cahill, MD

He got caught up in an emergency and didn't bother to tell me he wasn't going to show up.

He was rushed, impatient, and not thorough after a long wait.

I just want to clarify on my previous review to mention a flaw John Cahills practice. For parasite testing besides a few blood tests which may help in 'some cases' he relies on the stool tests from Labcorp which are known to be crap. Even Dr. Kevin Cahill who is related to John Cahill doesn't use corporate stool tests because of how unreliable they are. For better parasite testing best to try a specialty lab which there are a couple around like parawellness and drg lab who does pcr testing - more reliable than the crappy corporate lab tests.

The doctor appears to be involved in multiple medical areas so surely he helps people. That said he didn't end up helping me and he seems to not really know about lyme disease. The doctor says chronic lyme disease doesn't exist, this is simply false, evidence is by many people who have it for a long time. Also if it shows up on a blood test over a year after taking medicine for it that seems clear a person showing positive for lyme after that time likely has it. The doctor also didn't help with coinfectoins so for these reasons this review is what it is. It seems like some people he may be benefical to but maybe not for people with lyme and others, another ratemd page someone also said a similar thing.

Dr. John Cahill is an outstanding Family Medical Doctor for the Jones and McFarlene family. He is extremely knowledgeable and caring. I always feel better when I know I'm under his care. Dr. Cahill returns phone calls and is always available to answer any concerns. His staff is like no other. Dr. Cahill and his staff know their patients' by name. The quality of service is superb. Dr. Cahill is rare and is an all around outstanding Family Medical Doctor.
