He does not respect appointment times and double books appointments. I guess his time is more worthy than his patient's time. I had this appointment scheduled for 6 weeks and then waited 40 minutes. After waiting that long I decided that he doesn't deserve my money, so then cancelled my appointment. Receptionist was nice and helpful. She recommended another doctor. DO NOT go to Dr. Capener if you value your time.

Miss husband cancer with 3 endoscopy finally went to the ER to get another doctor and that is when they found cancer

A colonoscopy screening is typically covered 100% by insurance. Capener's office wants you to agree *up front* to pay $198 out of pocket if he finds any abnormality, b/c now the screening has become a "diagnostic". Yeah right. Also, the receptionist mentioned this immediately after I gave my religious affiliation as "none". Draw your own conclusion about that.

Dr. Capener was not friendly at all, very cold toward me and his staff. He removed a polyp from my colon. I had no call about biopsy results. After two and a half weeks, so I had to call them for the results .
