Dr. John B Carroll, DDS

I had a root canal done about a year ago at another "specialist" office in Denton, and the experience was miserable. I was in so much pain during the procedure and after, and the tooth ended up having to be pulled 3 months after. So, I was nervous about getting another root canal on a different tooth, but was thankfully referred to Dr. Carroll this time. Staff was great. Dr. Carroll was calm and confident which helped my nerves. I didn't have any pain during the procedure, was a little sore for a few days following (which he told me would happen), but after that, nothing. His nurse called to check on me about a week after, and I was so happy to tell her I was doing great, but that my only complaint is that I wish Dr. Carroll could do all of my dental work!

I am an anesthesiologist that has been in practice 25+ years. As a care giver and an administrator of compassionate and hopefully painless care I can assess great care as opposed to just adequate. Just the thought of the term “root canal” inspires dread. I underwent 2 root canals during the same visit. I experienced little or no discomfort before, during or even after! I was amazed that not even the areas where the shots went in were sore. If you have any fear of pain visit Dr Carroll. His office staff was kind, courteous and professional and the office is spotless. Can you tell I’m a big FAN!!!!

Dr. Carroll was very gentle and thorough. Tooth feels great now. Staff was excellent too.

I was having a lot of pain, and Dr. Carroll worked me into his schedule over his lunch hour. The staff were helpful and courteous, and Dr. Carroll did an awesome job on my tooth. Highly recommend.

I was really anxious about the procedure. Dr. Carroll explained everything and put me at ease. I didn't even feel the shot, and the procedure went very smoothly. The next day, it was like nothing had ever happened. I wish he did more than root canals, because I would see him for everything else too!

I was very nervous going in, but Dr. Carroll and his staff did an amazing job. If I ever need another root canal, I will certainly go back to Dr. Carroll.

Outstanding staff and experience. Dr. Carroll has done a root canal on me and my husband and we cannot see enough positive things about this office.
