After multiple cancellations, he barely listened to me and acted like I was wasting his time a poor example of someone who is supposed to care about people.

I am almost 60 and I have never encountered a doctor that is so rude uncaring unprofessional to someone who is chronically ill is trying to find help does not listen to anything you say and does not like you to be proactive in your care it makes you lose faith in the medical system

Dr Carson treated both of my parents with the heart problems. For my father, although his heart was beating at. Normal rate thanks to the pacemaker , he was not doing well. Sr Carson took two hours going over his family, life story and identified a problem which best medicine couldn't fix. After the meeting, my dad did 180 degree turn around.and living a fuller life. For my mom, dr Carson used a state of art 6 months old monitor to pinpoint the problem and her life has also been turned around. I just thank him enough. Also his bedside manor is bar none!

I was hospitalized after carotid endarterectomy surgery. He was a fellow in the vascular surgery dept. at Weiss Mem. Hosp. in Chicago. I was experiencing excruciating pain caused by my bladder retaining fluid, so the ICU nurse requested a catheter. He refused without examining me. It was 48 hours before a catheter was inserted, requested by my internist. Carson was insulting, negligent and very egotistical. He should not be dealing directly with people!!!
