Dr. John Robert Carson, DDS

My whole family has been going to Dr. Carson for years and we all love him and his staff. He is focused on not only preventative care but restorative and cosmetic services. If your looking for budget work, he's not your guy. He provides top of the line cosmetic and restorative work that is natural looking and not visible, but is probably more expensive than some other providers. I've found him to be very open to discussing all my options, including pricing, and what is covered by my insurance. We always know our out-of-pocket costs before any work is done and we haven't felt pressured to spend more than necessary. He will be honest about telling you the problems or durability of your options. So yes, there has been a time or two my less expensive choice was clearly not the best choice as far as durability and life expectancy, but he respected my budget restrictions without any problems. Also, like any medical provider he has relationships with other professionals for things such as… extractions, root canals, and peridontists and provides referrals to those providers. But I have never had him give me any problems if I have chosen another. He has honestly told me that he doesn't have a relationship with that provider and can't speak to the quality of their work. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. I expect my provider to refer me to only those he thinks do the same caliber of work as him.

Dr. Carson made a tactless, thoughtless and horrible comparative comment to my wife that was so damaging to my wife’s emotional and psychological well-being that she left this man’s office suicidal and too humiliated and ashamed of her appearance from her deteriorated smile to even leave our home now. Dr. Carson refuses to apologize or even acknowledge the situation and it remains entirely unresolved. Formal medical complaints are next due to Dr. Carson’s absolute lack of concern over the entire affair and the fact that he has nearly cost me my wife. Because our case is unique (my wife’s dental condotion) and involved law engorcement, military and civilian police and mp records, and has been documented, when my wife’s blog regarding her story and recovery from (said legal incident i.e. her injuries etc.) goes live, this incident will be sitting in that blog for the world to read about. In a world of 100% media transparency you can’t be this cruel to a patient who came to you… crying in trouble in good faith and need of help and injure them and fail to acknowledge that injury. I I work in JAG and I cam tell you due to the tremendous amount of medical paperwork that comes through our office and court that patient accountability and empathy in treatment is everything.

Best Dental Experience I have ever had, he took the time to explain the procedure and made sure I was comfortable the entire time!! I would recommend him to my family and friends!!

Competent Dentist. However, you will be prompted for more services than you knew existed many of the services I feel are not required and are over the top.

this dentist is not conservative with his work... He does unnessary work.. Also refers to his affiliates for unnesary work.. BE CAREFUL.... Also seems to be money motivated... Not patient motivated.
