Dr. John E Carter, MD

My husband was a patient of Dr. Carter but apparently if you’re a healthy person and don’t see him every year they just kick you out from being a patient. Recently tried to get him in and they said because he hasn’t been in so long he is no longer a patient. I guess just like the western medical field they love to create patients not cures! So if your healthy most of the time you don’t matter. So now he has to go through finding a new doctor while being very sick which we all know is impossible. Dr Carter’s staff was very rude and uninformed about several things. If I could give a zero I would!

Dr. Carter is a great doctor who addresses all my needs & always has the answers. Waiting time is excellent also & I highly recommend him!

This was my second visit with Dr. Carter. I felt very comfortable. He followed up on my visit with answered questions . My visit was very professional and informative. The staff was very friendly and helpful..

Best Doctor I have ever had. Compassionate, caring, concerned. Friendly and personable, listens and allows our inputs into necessary treatments. Follows up, even making personal calls with test results. Truly a wonderful human being and superlative doctor. He really cares. I give him five stars, with slight exception of slightly rude phone answerers, and prescription refill pick ups limited to before 4 PM. That makes it difficult for people who work normal hours

Like my other reviewers, I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Carter. I only see him a couple times of year when I have built up a 'gorcery list' of issues and concerns, and while many doctors I have seen seem to be annoyed by this and rush me through, Dr. Carter is patient and addresses each item on my list. He is personable, and friendly and will frequently smile, laugh and conversationalize. He has made accurate diagnosis time after time and when he is in doubt he will and has reffered me to specialists. The wait to see him can be excessive (I have waited over an hour before...), but I can understand. If he spends as much time and attention on every patient as he does me (which I am sure he does) that will cause delays. For the care I receive I am willing to wait.

I consider myself very fortunate to have a doctor such as Dr. Carter. Unlike many physicians, when Dr. Carter is seeing me, I have his full attention and never feel rushed. He listens intently and answers my questions fully and completely. His approach towards me has always been to offer options, allowing me to help choose my own treatment. He is kind and caring. There are a lot of doctors out there that could take lessons from this man.

The Dr is awesome and the nurses are really nice. But they need to get rid of mostly all of there front desk employees. Over the phone most of them are rude.
