Dr. John Christopher Cawley, MD

Can't even get a 15 minute appointment for 2 months, even though I've been his patient for years. C Meyers

Gross incompetence. While under his care for a year, my Dad's health continued to decline and symptoms worsened. I attended several of my Dad's appointments with Dr. Cawley, who had no explanation for my Dad's extreme fatigue, shortness of breath and low back pain. He was misdiagnosed as having a virus of some sort. While under Cawley's care, he died from heart failure at age 76. Admitted to the hospital two weeks before he passed, the doctor at the hospital suggested a life-saving surgery, but it was too late- they could not get his vitals stable enough to do the surgery. How tragic that Dr. Cawley did not have the competency to recognize the symptoms of heart failure.

I was a patient of a long respected Doctor that retired. I was apprehensive to be transferred to a new doctor. I am so pleased that I had no need to worry. Dr. Cawley is a wonderful doctor. He has a great bedside manner, makes you feel comfortable and really listens. He makes sure your questions are answered and is great at working with you to find a treatment that works for you. I never feel like a number. A doctor with compassion that is still a great medical doctor is hard to find!

I really like Dr. Cauley and he was recommended by another physician. He takes the time to get to know you and understand your concerns. His assistants could have better follow through.

It took a few days longer than I had expected to get in to see him as he appears to be be booked out. However, I was treated like a member of the fam ...

It took a week to see him, but he was highly reccomended and I could wait. I'm sure glad I did. Hey really took care of us and followed up after the visit to make sure we were doing better. His nurses were easy to work with and were fantastic over the phone.

Was greeted with courtesy and respect, followed by a thorough physical. Detailed explanation of findings and treatments. Professional, courteous, caring, compassionate and extraordinarily enthusiastic. Not only did he listen and record my questions, but emphatically responded in common tone, without any technical jargon. Made me feel comfortable and respected. A job well done, and cannot recommend enough. My only complaint is that he schedules out so far unless you have a prior condition. I waited almost 1 month for my physical, but cannot stress enough how much I appreciated the wait!! Have not had f/u yet, so did not rate.

Dr. Cawley took the time to explain what was wrong and what our next steps were. He was great with our kids.

Very personal. Treated me and my family great, and I was able to tell me he was giving us great personalized medical care. I'm always able to get in to see him when I need him and my questions are always answered fully.
