Dr advised a procedure that would make me have medication that I’m highly allergic to

I was told he would not replace a non working port, but rather I should go under IR (with IVP Dye) which I’m highly allergic to, to see, what’s blocking my port and if maybe IR can fix it. Note*. Dr knew I was allergic to the Dye.

Very good bedside manner, surgery was good. Follow up visit I pointed out something odd looking in my incision. Dr. said it looks fine. Six weeks post-surgery small incision is hard and still not healed like others. Come to find out it infected terribly. Called Dr. repeatedly for help because I have to be very carful with infections. Two weeks later no call back. I found a piece of some kind of matter in the incision about an inch long. I pulled it out and healing fine now. This all could of been avoided had he listened to me at the follow up visit when I clearly told him that incision looked odd. I'm supposed to have a bariatric surgery done there. After this I am seriously considering other options, but not with that clinic.
