My husband and I had previously worked with three other therapists for our marital problems and had not felt traction before contacting Dr. Chirban. Working with Dr. Chirban was significantly different. He established a balance in sessions so that my husband and I felt heard by each other and learned also with concrete exercises to relate from where each spouse was coming from. Our communications changed—and the resentment and misunderstandings are behind us. We are now working to enhance our romantic life and this has opened a new current which has us enthusiastic about the meetings. Dr. Chirban is excellently trained and very relatable. We highly recommend him.

With Covid 19, our family was confined together like never before. The inability to run from ourselves and each other meant confronting serious problems. When we called Dr. Chirban to speak with him about our marital problems, our teens substance issues and most of every item that is listed on his psychology today post, we had no expectation that within a few months so much would be accomplished. We learned how to be a family and feel love rather than contempt for each other. Though Dr. Chirban does not use time hand holding, his action plans and emotional awareness have our family thankful to him for the opportunity of finding him. It’s cliche to say that this therapy was life changing but that’s the truth. All six of us were given so much!
