Performed Whipple surgery on my boyfriend. Many, many complications and Christein was very cold and would not answer questions. Very arrogant! Was not the least bit concerned that my boyfriend was missing the window of opportunity for chemo! Would not answer our questions! We ended up at MD Anderson but due to complications and lack of care/concern from Christein it was unfortunately too late to “buy” much time! Please if you have a rare cancer seek out a surgeon that specializes and is compassionate!

I came to Dr. Christein with a grim prognosis. After seeing Dr. Christein, he informed my wife my diagnosis was not as dire as we had been told. I am four years post-op and thankful for each and every day. But I truly believe God led us to Dr. Christein when we had little hope. Thank you Dr. Christein!

Surgery 2007 ! Dismissed Before I could eat . Because of not being able to eat l lost my large intestines and my colon ! Sick all the time . Suffer from malnutrition ! Now I still have the pain and a slow death! Would never return my calls !!

I would never see him again. He was the right doctor for my surgery but his bedside manor is the worst. If it were not for my oncologist and God I would have died. In fact Dr. Christein asked me why I wanted to live so much for. I had to have more surgical procedure to fix some of his mistake. Be careful if you use him.

Dr. Christine performed surgury on my spouse in 2009. He did a wonderful job. i am very thankful for him not giving up on him when it seem that all odds were against him.

I had the good fortune to have Dr. Christein as my surgeon. Luckily mydiagnosis was good for my tumor wasremoved early. Dr. Christein and his associates weregood to see me daily and to encourage me in my recovery efforts. I can't say enough good things aboutthis physician.MDG; 3/14/10
