If I was not at my appointment 10 minutes early, he wouldn’t see me. This is literally how every single appointment that I ever had with him went. Him: So, how are you doing? Me: No difference, my anxiety is just getting worse and I’m to the point that I have a hard time leaving the house. My medication is STILL not working. Him: What book are you reading? Me: I show him the cover of the book. Him: Do you like the book? Do you read that author much? Me: Yes, I have read most of their books. Him: Okay, we will just keep you where you are and see you back here in three months. Maybe next time we will up the dose again. Total appointment time: 10 minutes, and that was only if he asked what my book was about, after he asked the title and author. I went through this for over a year. He knew what medication worked for me, but he refused to prescribe it for me. Instead it was, let’s try this, let’s try this and NONE of them ever worked no matter how much he upped the dosage. I… honestly don’t understand how he is still practicing with the unjust treatment he gives his patients.

I seen him the other day for the first time and was impressed. Not at all like others have said. He's very kind and knows his stuff. Of course he prescribed me medicine, because that is his field, but also referred me to a good counselor too. I like him and will continue seeing him.

You had me on Diazapam for 6 years! 6 years on a medication you yourself said should only be used short term. I trusted you John.....Our lives are not experiments to throw different medications at. You NEED TO LISTEN TO US! Not just hear us..... I would not recommend this doctor.

He never takes the time to listen, gets you in and out as quickly as possible. Put me on a medication that I specifically asked if it was habit forming and he told me no. Now here we are a couple months later and I find out that's not the case. I asked him to take me off of it and he cuts me off cold turkey, great side effects by the way. Thanks for caring about your patients, I'll be looking for a new doctor.

Wow, I could go on forever, but I won't. Very Very Unprofessional, Unethical, not concerned for me (the patient) at all!.. I always felt like cattle going in just to have him seemingly to watch the time, and let me go. There is a major problem that I had with him, I Vow to take care of even if takes me forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rushes through every appointment. Dismissive of patient concerns about treatment, follow up, and medications. Very rude when opinions are challenged. Offensive smell.

Very helpful and a good doctor that I trust. He is very easy to talk with and I feel very comfortable with him.

I have never had a shrink who understood me, related to me and actually asked questions instead of the 'mmhmm' while scribbling something down on the pad of paper... he is very personable and he makes you feel like a friend instead of just another number on the list for the day! <3 to Dr Ciaccio!
