Dr. John Benjamin Clemmons, MD

Warning!!!! This Doctor tilted my pelvis during the most excruciating tissue sample. I felt as is he was ripping me apart with no anesthetic!!!!! and now I’m in chronic pain daily that no doctor has been able to fix. This was a torture chamber the worst nightmare come true! This man should be removed from being a doctor and never be allowed to do colonoscopies.

Don't have a colonoscopy done with this man. I was not properly medicated and my IV infiltrated into my hand to which he didn't listen to me nor did he care. He then proceeded to start the colonoscopy, which was the most painful, brutal and barbaric thing I have ever experienced. I was screaming and crying, writhing in pain but he just continued. He even had his male nurse lay across my belly, twice. I would never send anyone to this man for anything. Incompetent. Should not be allowed to continue practicing.

Excellent doctor! Very nice and caring and made the test process very comfortable. I was pleased with him as the GI doctor I selected.

I have been going to Dr Clemmons for many years. My mother, Sister, husband and now my children all go to him. We all trust and respect him as a doctor and a human being. He has pulled me through some hard times and gave me confidence to carry on. I am truly grateful for all he does.

I started seeing Dr. Clemmons years ago recommended by a nurse who knew him well. I had an emergency issue with my pancreas in 1987 and he did NOT filibuster with my problem. When he treated me in the hospital with this issue for about a month he called in a consult (Dr. Gaith / deceased now) and the two of them performed surgery on my pancreas and virtually saved my life. I will only see him and one other doctor (Dr. Daram) for any gastroenterology issues to bounce of them both my issues. Usually, they both give me the same diagnosis and give it with conviction and confidence. I love Dr. Clemmons' work and he and his wife.

Dr Clemmons is the best. He cares about every aspect of his patients. He’s very attentive and caring and he wants his patients to be at optimal health. I’ve been seeing him since 2005 and I wouldn’t trade him for no one. His staff is friendly and very helpful. You won’t be disappointed having him as your doctor.

I went to see Dr Clemmons after being under the care of two Dr's for 3 months and in severe pain. I lost 40 lbs while under the care of two Doctors in Lake Jackson Texas. I went to see Dr Clemmons got in on same day of requesting an appointment with the help of Dr M. Khan . He ran test at the hospital that day. I went back the next day had an ERCP. He was able to fix my problem that day and gave me a diagnosis. I felt relief from my pain that day.
