Dr. John Wesley Cochran, MD

He does not listen, no compassion at all several attempts to get documents with a full letter description and 2 months later still nothing. Waited for meds for headaches. Finally had enough and found an awesome one. If you have him leave and if you dont find another...

Maybe Dr. Cochran isn't used to patients being concerned about their health and asking questions because he seemed very short and impatient when I had them. He seemed to have a bit of an attitude which came through as arrogance and seemed to belittle my concerns and make me feel kind of dumb. He was looking at a computer or at my paperwork as he spoke and I would have appreciated him actually looking at me and treating me like a person instead of just something in the room. I don't recommend him.

Dr. Cochran is familiar with the latest pharmaceutical developments in his field, has a pleasant and caring manner and spends sufficient time with patients. Unfortunately, some of his staff (not all of them) seem to think it's their job to give patients as little information as possible, and even to repeatedly fail to return urgent phone calls. Dr. Cochran would be better served by staff who share his work ethic.

It seemed the dr was rather busy and while I can appreciate that the appts seemed very rushed. The waiting between apps were much too long considering the critical needs of the patient, time seemed of the essence. While not life threatening the problems were certainly life debilitating and after a few visits and what turned out to be MANY, MANY tests he quietly referred us to another neurologist and never followed up again as far as I remember. I'm sure he is a busy man and the the entire practice works very hard but our dissatisfaction w/ the delays was overwhelming and greatly discolored our opinion of this doctor. Very disappointing. We didn't feel he was unkind, not even uncaring, more like that it was a business, no more or less and that the more patients he saw the more money the practice made. Like so many doctors we have seen the last few years the concentration is less on medicine and more on business and, specifically, turnover. He also had a real scary front desk woman.… At least she scared the heck out of me.

If you're going to see him,be prepared for every MRA and Cat-scan available...

He misdiagnosed me, said I had nothing when I was very sick. Didn't care about what I had to say about my own condition and refused to run other tests that ended up revealing what was wrong with me.

not at all concerned with my thoughts concerning my condition....."doorknob" doctor(hand never leaves inside doorknob,giving patient impression he can't wait to leave)....in two separate years, his sole interest was in prescribing tests at a hospital he was affiliated with that immediately compromised my deductibles and yielded nothing...arrogance extraordinaire..
