Dr. Colbert graduated from Illinois State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2000, graduating with the J.R. Schmidt award for excellence in restorative dentistry.
Dr. Colbert’s post graduate training enables him to provide excellent care for his patients using the latest materials and techniques. Like Dr. Fiersten, he finds all areas of dentistry enjoyable, but reconstructing people’s mouths for esthetics and function is most rewarding.
Most recently Dr. Colbert has accepted the position of Chairman of the Peer Review Board of the GV Black Dental Society.
Dr. Colbert and his wife Maggie, a fellow graduate of SIU/SDM, are the very proud parents of their two boys, Jacob and Max. He enjoys attending Jacob’s soccer games, going fishing with the boys, and mountain biking. He really enjoys doing just about anything with this family.
