Dr. John M Colby, MD

I have been seeing Dr Colby for over 2 years now! He’s such a compassionate and caring Dr. He listens to my concerns and takes the time to truly find a diagnosis to my health issues. He truly cares about his patients and I’m thankful he has helped to find out what has been going on with all of my health issues! He’s a great man and an awesome Dr. I would highly recommend him!

I have been seeing Dr. Colby for four years. During this time, he has shown a level of compassion and care that is unsurpassed in other providers. He is thorough and has treated me with discernment and kindness. Dr. Colby takes the time to treat a person, not just a condition. I would highly recommend Dr. Colby!

Dr.Colby is just an angel. I have severe anxiety with all of my neuro stuff and right when he walks in the room I’m calm and he’s a breath of fresh air. He listens to everything I say and all of my concerns, and he keeps me rational and realistic. I have been his patient since 2012, and I would never see another neuro. He is extremely thorough, it’s quick to get in, my migraines are WAY less frequent than they used to be. If I have a concern I onow I can get him on the phone quickly. I trust not only dr colby, but his stay summer and saki when I have an appointment. I look forward to seeing them everytime I have an appointment.

Dr. Colby is absolutely amazing, he takes the time needed, I never feel rushed, I feel like he really listens to my issues and does everything he can to address all issues and makes sure I am comfortable when I leave my appointment. Staff is excellent!

I've been seeing neurologists for years for my migraines, and when I moved to Clarksville, I had a really hard time finding a good one that I liked as much as my old one. I have to drive an hour to see Dr. Colby, but it is completely worth it because he's the best neurologist around. He listens to everything I have to say and asks plenty of questions to help me figure out what I need. His staff are somewhat rude, but I think it's worth it in order to see him.

Bad bedside manner. I come in with pain, he doesn't even address the other problems. What a schmuck. I'm finding a new doctor who will explain my illness, 4 office visits and still no diagnosis, and he makes me feel like he doesn't want me there. Ahole. Oh and the front desk lady, rude as can be. I call, she sets the phone down and I can hear her talking about me. Unprofessional.

He is a great doctor!

I had multiple visits with Dr Colby. He was always professional, very caring and supportive. Simply put, I am 59 years old and Dr Colby is the best doctor I have ever seen.

saw this doctor at U of L Neurology. He was uninterested in my symptoms and medical history. he checked my reflexes and had me walk a straight line and pronounced me "normal". Once he heard I had sciatica he asked me if he ordered me an mri would I consider surgery? I guess you can only get testing if you want surgery. what a hack! I had to call back 4 times to get my mri scheduled, my order had been placed in someone elses file! I just called to schedule my follow up appt post mri and didn't even have to ask for another doctor-he is no longer with U of L.
