Dr. John Stanley Collis, MD

I was referred to Dr Blades from another Dr. in the Collision group. First off I have been dealing with the Collis group for years and everybody else I have dealt with has been professional and went above and beyond my expectations. Then there is Dr. Blades. Without too much detail I have several spinal conditions and cervical issues. I was referred to her because of my severe carpal tunnel. I have a wife that works two jobs, 3 children and have a disability case pending and we have one car, so needless to say it is quite a challenge just to get to the Dr. That being said, she cancelled my first appointment, then rescheduled. I called twice to confirm my appointment, received no response then got a voicemail today saying that I missed two appointments so she refuses to see me? First off a little more explanation would be nice not to mention SHE cancelled on me and when I tried to confirm the date, that obviously I got wrong which is entirely on me, why weren't my calls responded to?… And just to be clear I called before the appointment, not after I already missed it or anything like that. A simple phone call would have resolved all of this but somehow I am the one at fault when all I am doing is seeking (professional) medical treatment. but I guess everything works for a reason I sure don't want this person to operate on me. I love Dr Anderson and his assistant Torres but I am not sure I can continue to go to such an unprofessional place where one person's attitude trumps patient care. Like I said I do not understand what I did wrong and was given no real explanation. So I urge anyone to boycott the Collis group until Dr Blades is removed. Ohio patients deserve better than this sad excuse for a Dr. Sincerely, An Ohio patient in a lot of pain that is looking for fair patient treatment

I waited 2.5 hrs to be told that I don't need surgery and my pain will go away in 3-4 years!

most memorial his assistant, she stayed with Dr Collis and me the whole way from admitting, to getting ready and on the way to the surgery . they never left my side. I think here name was Nancy and that day she was dressed in red. I think the world of them both. And they made me feel safe. my back surgey was in 97
