Dr. John Francis Conaghan

Dr. John F. Conaghan John F. Conaghan, D.D.S. is a general cosmetic dentist with advanced training and interest in aesthetics and smile makeover dentistry. A native of Bethesda, Dr. Conaghan graduated from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore. He continued his training in 1999 at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies where he completed the advanced anterior aesthetics program. In 2004, he returned to LVI to complete the Neuromuscular Occlusion Program. Dr. Conaghan has also studied extensively and has over ten years of experience with several implants systems, especially Bicon and 3i.
Dr. Conaghan was trained in the conventional way all good dentists are trained, but over the past decade, with the advent of new state of the art materials, he and other cutting edge dentists have expanded the limits of what cosmetic results can be achieved in dentistry. The rapid improvement in the technology of porcelain and the bonding …agents has enabled dentists trained properly to create smiles that are altogether beautiful and natural. Dr. Conaghan’s enthusiasm for these new materials and his long standing affiliation with the leading institute of cosmetic dentistry creates the optimum environment for incredible results.
Dr. Conaghan has participated in numerous volunteer services, including rudimentary dentistry in the Dominican Republic. Active in sports all his life, he spends his free time playing with or coaching one of his five kids. After five years as a CYO basketball coach and five years as an MSI soccer coach, his kids are almost old enough for real coaches. He is also a member of the Chevy Chase Club.
