Dr. John E Concannon, DO

I get frustrated every single time I take my daughter here! I loved the first NP we had but she's no longer there and the new NP Angelica is terrible. We've seen her multiple times and she's never really checked my daughter. She barely comes near my daughter and has never said a word to her. She has the blandest personality and does not know how to work with children. She gives me the most basic answers and I almost feel like she doesn't want to help my child. Dr. Vitale is ok, mixed feelings about her. On the other hand, Dr. Concannon is extremely rude! I've heard him in the office and talked with him on the phone and cannot believe he talks to his patients parents the way he does! I do love the front desk girls though, they are all so sweet and have always been nice.

Dr Concannon is excellent! He is also quite funny and make me and my children feel quite comfortable. I would recommend this practice 100%

I've never met such a horrible doctor in my life! Dr. Concannon treated my baby with disrespect he literally grabbed my baby's face to check him to put that little stick in his mouth; he grabbed his face so hard that he left bruises on his face! when my baby was born I told the doctor that I thought something was wrong with his eyes, he put that little flashlight to his eyes and says oh he's fine but come to find out three years later my son need a glasses and his eyes were very bad. My son cried every night for three years the doctor told me let him cry he'll get over it! Well guess what he was waking up because he couldn't see!!! So he was afraid and that's why he cried every night! This office should be shut down immediately doctor Concannon's license should be ripped away from him . When doctor Concannon's daughter was there and you're sitting in the room waiting for dr. Concannon why he's in his room just chatting with his daughter on personal matters while you're sitting there… waiting and waiting very disrespectful very rude. He should no longer be in practice. I do not recommend him to anyone that has children!

Excellent doctor-Dad-daughter combo

This doctor is a typical money hungry doctor. We have had him a couple of year's. The initial consultation was good, he seemed like a very nice doctor. However, it's as if that was all just an act. He treats parents as incompetent and degrades them. The first sign was when he told my son "I only talk to you, Not your mom." I understand children need to know how to speak up, but as parents we see everything. Also, my child had an appt for his last hpv shot (mandated by schools now which is bull), he was sick for a day before with fevers, headaches etc. So when I took him I was trying to tell the doctor he is sick can you check him, because he should not get shots while sick. He shoved a flu shot so fast in his nose before I could even get a word in. Then when I finally did explain all my sons symptoms. He basically yelled at me and said " now mom you wait a minute, he is here for his hpv, not all this". I explained that I called to speak to a doctor on call the night before and no one… got back to me (which I did do). Then he went on complaining how he had to go back to the computer and re-enter all the information. He wanted us in and out...that's it. He wanted to hear none of it. He said it was just a cold. Now with chills and fever and now a sore throat, and now a flu mist. This doctor has no clue how to treat parents. Maybe he did 26 years ago, but now he's an old miserable man. Also, the room straight down the hall has a window to the left. I noticed the mini blind was messed up So I fixed it and got a shock. I looked and there are exposed wires going to the window lock...pretty sure that shouldn't be there! I'm not a parent that is gonna be pushed around! I am the parent! There are things I don't agree with and as a doctor he should be understanding and listen! This world is trying to push parents out and I don't go for it! Your fired!

I think doctor Concannon is an excellent doctor ! My grandson has been going to him since birth ! He is always there when you need him and he talks to you so you can understand ! Thanks Doctor Concannon for being a GREAT doctor
