I have gone to Dr. Cook for multiple cosmetics procedures. I highly recommend Dr. Cook and his staff.

Its uncommon to find a doctor with an aesthetic eye and technical expetise all in one ball of wax. He is a perfectionist in his craft. He enhances and follows the natural flow of the woman. He is not the sort of doctor who unethically gives breast and butt augmentations to teens or crazy procedures, (yes there exists an ethical doctor who keeps up and is ahead of the learning curve in the field of cosmetic surgery). He is by far the best and I would go so far as to say he is one of the best in the country. I actually flew in to receive surgery from him as I truly believe there is no better doctor out there in this field. He studies art in his freetime so he has the eye. .He is an artist when performing procedures as he gets into a zone, much like a concert pianist or an artist completely entrenched in their passion. . He is focussing on his craft and care of the patient and continues to grow and keep up with the best techniques. My only hope is he never retires. Be careful when… choosing your surgeon as this is your body and face. I trust him more than any other doctor in any field..

When I had my new passport photo taken, I knew it was time to consider my options. I consulted with six surgeons, and chose Dr. John Q. Cook based on his portfolio, location, and bedside manner. His staff was wonderful, and the whole process was seamless from surgery to after care. I had a full facelift, neck lift, fat transfer, and my lower lids done. I still look like meâ??only better. I have my cheekbones back, and my jawline is clean and tight. I have not felt this comfortable going without makeup since high school, and I am in my late 50s! I still have some swelling in my lower jawline, but it is not noticeable to anyone but me, and I expect to feel completely normal in a month or two. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I would recommend Dr. John Q. Cook to anyone looking to turn back the clock 15 or 20 years. I am so pleased.

This will be one of the most honest reviews you might read. Bare with me, my results were not perfect the first go around, but my experience was WONDERFUL so read on to see why he still gets a perfect score: Everyone I have worked with at Dr. Cook's office has been fantastic! I contacted them in the summer of 2009 while I was overseas and worked with them by email for a few months leading up to coming home. Every question I could come up with was answered before I even walked in the door for a consultation, and finally meeting Dr Cook in person, all the answers I needed were reconfirmed and we set about on my double procedure - rhinoplasty (for my crooked unfused bridge due to constant injuries to the nose from athletic and military training), and a breast augmentation. Rhinoplasty was a relatively new field for Dr. Cook from what I could gather, but one of his staff had trusted him on his own nose with wonderful results so I took the dive and am happy with mine! The breasts… were the main reason I chose him. I was 22 but I didn't want anything that looked painfully fake like half the women my age with augmentations, and natural looking was the result he specialized in due to his cancer patient breast reconstruction background. Here is where my results were not perfect the first go around. Dr. Cook did his best, and as luck would have it, my body decided not to heal with the proper results in mind. The skin over my sternum was tented up, looking kind of like symmastia (common complication in BA's). However, I was apparently an anomaly because unlike in true symmastia, my breasts would separate completely when my pectorals flexed. We dubbed this "psuedo-symmastia". Obviously I didn't want this, and Dr. Cook himself was upset with the results - he made it his mission to get the results I wanted and to figure out how the heck this happened! Waiving all costs that he had control over, and the girls in the booking and finance department helping get the facility/anesthesia fees as low as possible (even covering part of the costs to help me out!), we were finally able figure out what happened! In essence because of my already narrow space between my two breasts, one of the pockets on the lateral sides of the implants (that allow them to move a bit), had closed off more than the other when healing, leading it to push towards the other causing the skin to tent. So, with some dedication, ingenuity and surgeon magic, Dr. Cook and his staff worked with me and went beyond to get the results I wanted after a complication no one could have predicted. They were not happy until I was!

I had struggled with cellulite on the back of my thighs since adolescence and had spent my life since then dieting and exercising to try to control the problem. I finally decided to research cellulaze as a treatment and I found Dr. Cook to be the most experienced in the Chicago area. I couldn't be happier with the results of the procedure. I am excited to spend the first summer since my childhood enjoying wearing shorts this summer! I look in the mirror every day because seeing the change makes me so happy!

Dr. Cook was recommended to me ten years ago by a friend whose leading position in healthcare gives her exceptional access to the best physicians in America. I wanted to have my under-eyelids tightened after years of swelling due to allergies. I did consult with another physician, but once I met Dr. Cook I knew there was no reason to keep searching. The outcome was both remarkable and totally natural. Iâ??ve learned that one of the hallmarks of Dr. Cookâ??s work is that no one can tell anything other than you look refreshed, not redone. Last year when I wanted to have more comprehensive facial surgery, I went straight back to him. His staff is extraordinarily kind and sympathetic and like Dr. Cook, they make me feel like I am the only patient. No matter how busy the office is, they give me all the time needed to address my questions. I have referred other people to him who also agreed there was no reason to pay for other consultations. He instills confidence in the outcome and… also is obviously an artist within his profession. Even when I was in recovery, the nurses were marveling at the perfect stitches which have healed without scarring. Today, people stop and tell me how good I look. When I confide that I had â??work doneâ??, they are clearly unsuspecting. If you choose to get other consultations, be aware of the apples to apples comparison. Where other physicians may quote a lower price, Iâ??ve learned that Dr. Cook allows almost twice the time as other docs for each surgery. Cosmetic surgery is a gift; donâ??t allow yourself to be shuffled through a factory-like operation. I sincerely believe that Dr. Cook is extraordinary in his craft and I still thank my friend for the referral.

Iâ??m going to begin my comments with the end result - perfection! I truly believe that Dr. Cook is an artist at heart and accepts nothing less than perfection. I was referred to Dr. Cook by my Breast Cancer Surgeon at Rush Medical Center. I previously had a right mastectomy and was scheduled to have a left mastectomy. I needed reconstructive surgery. My experience with Dr. Cook has been wonderful from beginning to the end. He assured me that he would be able to align both breasts and achieve a symmetrical result without using skin grafts, and explained the process thoroughly and answered all of my questions. His calm demeanor eased my anxiety. When I arrived home after surgery, I received a call from Denise, Dr. Cookâ??s nurse. She asked how I was doing and encouraged me to call her at any time, if I had any concerns. It was very reassuring to know that we could call at any time if we had a problem. Later on - as I returned to Dr. Cookâ??s office for follow up visits,… Denise was always professional and caring, and more than happy to answer my questions. I felt as if I was going to have a chat with a friend. Dr. Cookâ??s other staff members (Andy, Suzy, and Jason) were always professional and pleasant. The office is well run and appointments were always on time. I would highly recommend Dr. Cook to my wonderful daughters or my dearest friends. He has certainly put a smile on my face!

Great experience with Dr. Cook and his office staff. I had a brow lift and upper and lower eye sugery. Recovery is about 2 weeks for swelling and bruising. Great results. I look 10 years younger. So glad I did it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cook for over ten years. He did my eyelids, a facelift and most recently Slimlipo. The results were stellar. Everything done improved my appearance in a very natural way. Dr. Cook takes the time and has the skill to look at you individually and then determines what is best for you. I have also been going to his office for my skin care as does my husband.
