Dr. John William Copeland, MD

I felt Dr. Copeland took the very best care of me and my family. Yes, sometimes the waiting room was full and the wait was long, but we always knew when it was our turn, we would have his complete attention. Best diagnostician ever, with appropriate treatment, and urgent referral to specialist when needed. He set the standard by which my future doctors have been judged by me. Sorry I had to move out of his area.

Was asked to pay in cash, but they accepted the debit card.The wait time was very long in the lobby, over an hour, and in the patient room, the wait was an additional hour. While waiting in my room I could hear Dr. Copeland and other patients talk and discus personal medical issues since all the doors are left open and walls are thin (old building with asbestos pop corn ceilings). Finally, Dr. Copeland walked in, the first thing he mentioned was that he spent too much time with the previous patient and had to cut his time with me short, he wasn't able to do a physical on me even though I paid for it, but he did said he will do the physical for the next appointment. He was curt and handed me some pills and left after 15 minutes of his time. The nurse explained the pills after I asked her to explain and she gave me B 12 shot. Odd experience, my next appointment is in two weeks. After the second appointment I might have a better understanding and view about his practice. I went in for… weight loss, if I see results in the 2 weeks and future I will then recommend Dr. Copeland. Just because one experience is odd doesn't mean it's not something that works. I am only interested in results. The experience is odd, but results is the key issue. He seems to have reviews saying that they have seen positive results and has been in practice for many years. I was recommend by people who have shown results.

Excellent Doctor. He doesn't run around with a computer, he actually examines you.

I first went to him for a problem. He was nice enough to see me which I appreciate. Iv'e seen a few times and needed a refill on some medicine, which he said he would call it in for me for the last 2 days. His office has given me the run around and saying he's busy so am I. I still haven't got the medicine called in. Please don't ask him to call in some meds he is unwilling to do that. He never returned my call like he said. I hate to lose him as my doctor, but this one could care less.

WHEN I WENT FOR MY APPOINTMENT, HE CAME INTO THE ROOM AND LECTURED ME IN FRONT OF MY DAUGHTER ABOUT MONEY AND HOW I SHOULD GIVE IT ALL TO MY DAUGHTER, HE COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT GIVING ME THE SHOT I CAME FOR. HE DID NOT DISCUSS MY CASE WITH ME. HIS NURSE CAME TO MY DAUGHTERS CAR TO GIVE ME A SHOT.
