This doctor is a joke??. I come with my wife for FPHL only to hear inappropriate comment about her being overweight and lecture about osteoporosis, diabetes and diet. After 20 minutes he finally decided to look at my wife's scalp. Also when asked about very common medication for acne and FPHL his reply was twice “ I don’t prescribe that” and wend back on his diabetes lecture. All of that we could get from PCP not dermatologist.

heavy handed billing office with rude staff not a compliment, negates a good Doctor's endeavors....Ending my relationship with this practice.

Went to see Dr Cottom today when l got finished trying to talk to him couldn’t believe this could happen in today’s times without a doubt he is the worst doctor that l ever seen in my life he told he doesn’t do rashes maybe l should have seen my veterinarian won’t ever never be back personally don’t think his elevator reaches top floor if you don’t want to believe give it a go good luck can’t wait to see my bill

I was very satisfied with my procedure and results. I've had same type procedures from other areas and I knew what basically to expect. Dr Cottam knows his business and he did it well in my case. I would recommend him to my family and friends. Frances S. Polk County Fl

I lost my hard earned money just like that, he is too pricy doesn't tell the reason for your issue. And the staff are worst ever on this whole earth. They need to learn how to speak to a patient. I'm begging everyone not to go there please ! (Tampa Branch)

My husband went there several times, Dr. Cottams office staff over charged him several times, the insurance company recommended that we choose a different provider, due to continued problems with this, the last straw was when the Dr.injected my husband several times with lidocaine for a surgical procedure, left the room, then came back in telling him he would have to pay more money before he would continue the procedure. I don't understand how the physician is still practicing. Both him and his office staff are incredibly unprofessional, and unethical.

I took my teenage son to this medicaid approved office and was appalled by the office, and the doctor. He looked at my son for 10 seconds and said he need 3 areas biopsied! I didn't let him do any and took my son to another dermatologist (I paid out of pocket) who did not find any suspicious areas at all.

This Doctor has a traditional approach. He is experienced and aggressively treated my problem. I have some of the reviews on here and I have to tell you that my experience was really good. I had a suspicious looking mole on my back that I was very concerned about. He looked at it and decided right away it needed to be removed. The numbing went quick. Which I appreciate! It gave me know time to panic( I have a fear of needles). The report came back and my mole had bad cells. Sure I had to wait a few weeks for results but I believe that's standard. I was set up for a surgery and within a month I didn't have to worry about this again. My scar healed nicely and I was happy with the outcome.
