Dr. John David Cowan, MD

My Father is 97 and has dementia. The Staff and Dr.Cowan have always made sure he is comfortable and treat him with such respect. They're accommodating to his needs which makes my Father even more comfortable. We're having his second surgery with Dr.Cowan this week and I'll be a little less stressed knowing he's in excellent hands. Oh, regarding the wait time, it can be a bit lengthy but as a previous reviewer stated ... with such excellent service and care, the wait is worthwhile

Went to Dr Cowan for place on ear and a rash on leg. Told them I had Myasthenia Gravis 3 times. I was given a prescription for a cream for the rash. When I looked it up it said not use if you have MG. Called the office to see if there was something else that I could use but never heard back from them. I know Drs aren't pharmacists but when informed about this I would think someone would at least let me know if something else was available or not.

The doctor and staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and everyone is very friendly. I have been there on two occasions and they made me feel as ease with the procedures I had done. I’d definitely keep going back.

Today was my first visit and I am thoroughly impressed with Dr. Cowan and his staff. Everyone was so kind, caring, and welcoming. Dr. Cowan took care of two problems for me. I hardly felt anything when the biopsy was performed. Would recommend him for his excellent treatment and look forward to many years of his fantastic care.

I have seen Dr. Cowan several times and he is always extremely thorough in my skin check. I have a family history of skin cancer and worry that I will eventually have skin cancer myself. I always feel confident that Dr. Cowan will catch something in the early stages as long as I continue to go to my appointments with him. Also, his staff is always very professional and sweet. At my last skin check I was cold and the nurse made me a cup of hot coffee to help warm me up. They went above and beyond in order to make me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this physician and office.

My husband had a big surgery over his right eye. Dr Cowan did a great job fixing it. He even gave us his person phone number if we had issues. Great practice. Highly recommend them!
