Dr.Cox is the best. He is professional and caring and very easy to talk to. He listens to your concerns and addresses your questions with easy to understand answers. He has treated my little girl since she was born premature and we just love him!

I took my daughter to a scheduled sick child appointment at Dr. Cox's office but was turned away because I was rudely (and incorrectly) told that I had the wrong appointment time. The nurse who was working that evening said she talked to Dr. Cox and he would not see my 6 year old daughter who complained of ear pain like bees were stinging her. I explained that I had the right appointment time, but she would not even allow for the possibility that the mistake was not on my end, and when I expressed my dissatisfaction I was told simply: "I'm sorry you feel that way." I was told to take her to the emergency room or come back the next day. Of course I took her to the ER - which took up a whole evening and I had to explain to a 6 year old why her doctor wouldn't see her.I called the office 2 days later to get some clarification and was told that yes, a mistake had been made and that I was correct in the appointment time. I do not mind that a mistake was made, it happens. The woman who took… my call for the appointment is terrific, she has always been very kind and helpful. What I do mind is being treated so rudely by the nurse when I was there and not receiving so much as a phone call from the doctor to apologize or even to ask how his patient was feeling. That was the least he could have done considering the inconvenience caused to my family and the confusion and added discomfort to a little girl. The nurse treated us badly to boot, and we are leaving his practice.
