Dr. John David Cranor, MD

Dr. Cranor had been my Doctor for about 20 years. He is always my first choice in medical care. He is knowledgeable. He listens. I trust the man. I find that if I go in with some knowledge of my issues, he can give me a more in depth evaluation, for which I am extremely grateful

His treatment choices were correct and as expected; however his personal choice of conversations were judgemental and preachy. The office visit took twice as long because he chose to talk about how other people’s decisions just “broke his heart”

Dr. Cranor is the best family practice doctor in Fort Collins. I can't say much for his current medical assistant, Jessica. She demonstrates no experience as an MA. Too quick on the scale, doesn't take accurate blood pressures (keeps her thumb on the stethoscope bell and let's the air out way too fast), and doesn't seem to care about your concerns when you are trying to communicate with Dr. Cranor over the phone. Was hoping she would have improved after complaining to the office manager but no change. So..get Dr. Cranor to recheck your B/P when he comes in to see you. But aside from his crappie MA...he is amazing. He's thorough, caring, funny, and excellent bedside manners. A couple of the other docs in the practice are great too.

Can't say enough good things about Dr Cannor. He is very through and takes his time to real find out what the problem is.

Dr. Cranor has seen me three times in the past. His bedside manner is right on. He asks what is wrong and then takes the time to examine that issue and more. He is willing to help you with your problems and treats you like a person. Very caring and intelligent man without biased. His number one priority is your welfare. I recommend him to everyone. He is helping currently with nerve/neck/shoulder issues and really seems to care about resolving them. As with most clinics in this area it is almost impossible to see a doctor without going through a clinical nurse, a PA, a voicemail and all the other things that you can think of. Think about this prior to using the clinic. It is worth it to get to finally see Dr. Cranor but he is busy because he is good.
