Dr Cullen was awesome. He made the exam as comfortable as possible and explained everything as he was examining me.

"When my fiance specifically asked about risks for the surgeries he was having, no risks were told to him or he would have made a different informed decision. Nobody took into account the swelling that would take place. No risk was told to him where he would have thought he would have a catheter the rest of his life due to possible damage with the colorectal removal. He recently went through the interstem procedure through Urology and has to get it reversed because it will not work for him because of the damage. We are planning on getting married but a normal marital relationship was taken away from us. He will have to have a catheter the rest of his life. All I can say is everyone do your homework on the risks and never take the doctor's word for it. There was so much wrong through the whole process the only thing I can say went right is that he is alive but mentally and physically damaged. To some that is ok because 50% of patients have issues according to what I have been told. With… everything that happened, it still does not make it right. My heart is breaking for my fiance and there is nothing I can do about it except write reviews. "

Dr Cullen is an exceptional doctor and Surgeon. He has great bedside manner and very thorough on explaining your issue and what the next steps will be. He is always willing to answer all your questions and makes sure the patient is fully informed about what care they are receiving, healing time Ect. He has been outstanding with my husbands care during his Cancer journey and we both credit him for saving my husbands life. I would highly recommend Dr Cullen
