Dr. John Peter Czarnecki, MD

Dr. Czarnecki's performed a routine colonoscopy on my husband and removed 5 polyps. After dinner the same day, he started bleeding. Took him to the emergency room as we were instructed - 3 hours later, they took him by ambulance to Christ Hospital in Clifton. The next day, he had to go thru the prep again and a different surgeon did another procedure and inserted a clip at each site where a polyp was removed. While he was waiting for the 2nd procedure, Czarnecki's office did their routine follow up call. They had no idea he was in the hospital. Interesting since the GI group arranged for the transportation to Christ hospital. My husband ultimately lost 1/3 of his blood supply. A week later, I emailed and complained about the fact that Dr Czarnecki nor anyone else from the office called to check on him or express any concern. Finally in response to my email, some PR person called and bla bla bla. Czarnecki himself never called. Total disgrace. Will never use anyone from… Ohio GI group again.
