Dr. Danhjohn Tai Dang, MD

I have been looking for a new PCP since my doctor passed away a few years ago. Dr. Dang was a former doctor with the Cleburne Family Medicine but he opened his own practice and I couldn't find anything negative about him specifically. I reviewed his website, liked his hours, and liked what he was portraying. Reality is night and day. I arrived 15 minutes prior to 2:00 pm appt with all paperwork completed and with only one person waiting. She was seen almost as soon as I arrived. I was called to the exam room at 3:00 pm when the nurse took vitals and reviewed my meds. Dr. Dang came in at 3:15 asked what the problem was. I explained my medical issue. He asked a few questions and if I was allergic to any medications. Told me he was going to give me a shot and call in a prescription and STARTED TO WALK OUT OF ROOM! He didn't tell me what was wrong, what he was prescribing, what the shot was for, ask me if I had any questions! He didn't get within 3 feet of me. He was in the exam room less… the 5 minutes! I asked him if I had what I thought I had already researched. His response, "That's what I'm going to treat you for." No lab tests to confirm and there should have been. He said if it's not any better in 48 hours, come back. We have Saturday hours. I was there on Tuesday! Why wouldn't I come back on Thursday??? What I have is serious and with my medical condition can be more serious than for most but he never bothered to discuss my history and doubtful that he read it before seeing me. I was a potential new patient for the taking in a new office and he obviously doesn't need the business. CHOOSE ANOTHER DOCTOR!!! I'M STILL LOOKING!!!

He likes to over medicate. For example., he had me on Valium AND xanax, also a muscle relaxer, statins, hbp meds and nsaids. Wowzer. Ended up in er a week after seeing him. Harris methodist doesn't like him either.

Excessive wait time in waiting room & again once I was put into an exam room. Doctor's brother came in room first. Doctor was in & out of room in 2 minutes. Did not tell me what he was going to do. Sent someone else in room 30 munutes later to give me a shot. Did not tell me about medications prescribed or diagnosis.

was prescribed and insisted me to take statins even after complaining of loss of memory, sever joint and muscle pain. even after months of agony he could not realize something was very wrong. it was the statins he was giving me. I did my own research and stopped the statins on my own. I confronted him with evidence and he denied everything. needles today I changed dr. and a yr later I still suffering with all the side effects of statins and hoping there isn't any permanent liver, nerve and muscle damage. I would have died If I wouldn't gone against his care!!! his arrogant self centered. be carefull choosing a dr. and I would advise to stay away from him

Could not find out what was wrong with me after 3 years so i changed Dr. was trying to tell me what was wrong with me instead of listening to what i knew was wrong. my new Dr found out in a few weeks what was wrong and fixed it in under 3 months

Arrogant and did not take any time to listen to my concers. The worst care that I have ever seen.
