Dr Davis told me I had stage one breast cancer, he gave me my choices and never discussed any of them with me. I opted to go with a mastectomy when I asked him if I would have pain he looked at me and said why would you have any pain. I told him your removing a body part and he never said anything else about it. This was my first surgery in my life, after the surgery was over when I went to the bathroom I found 2 drains and bulbs attached to me. He never told me I would have drains for 12 days or anything else about the surgery. He never came to my room the next day to check on me. I found out last year from another dr that I didn’t have stage one cancer it was pre cancer. If he would’ve told me that I never would’ve had a mastectomy I would’ve went radiation or another option he down right lied to me. He has no beside manner and I’d rude, I would never recommend this dr and he shouldn’t be practicing

I’m very thankful to have had a conscientious surgeon like Dr. Davis treating me for my diverticulitis. He performed my colon re-section surgery. Patience and perseverance paid off! I have the utmost respect and confidence in Dr Davis as a surgeon, and in my opinion, I think he is an excellent surgeon! I appreciate that he didn’t rush in right away and operate on me. Some surgeons would have operated. But he was patient. Knowing what I know today, and what I’ve experienced in this past year, and learned about the colon, and diverticulitis, and co-litis and illi-ites, I wouldn’t let anyone else operate on me, but Dr. Davis... unless, he advised it. He informed me from the beginning that it was better to have colon surgery as an elective surgery, rather than have it as an emergency. Dr. Davis made sure the inflammation in my colon was cleared-up before he operated on me. His goal, is no bag if at all possible. Things get sticky and stick together and it can get pretty messy… when your colon is full of inflammation, and when this happens surgery can be complicated . Not all surgeons feel the same way. Some surgeons aren’t as patient as Dr Davis, and will let you no, in no uncertain terms your going to end up with a colostomy bag, and some surgeons treat it like it’s not a big deal, but it is. We waited seven months before I was healed enough to have my surgery because I kept having flare-ups that landed me back in the hospital. I had macro perforation in my colon but it was fully contained, so there wasn’t any leakage. Dr Davis pushed my surgery out as far as he could. And I’m so glad he did. My surgery was successful, and I came out of my surgery without a colostomy bag! Sometimes after having a colostomy reversal, it can create complications and more health risks. Please talk to your surgeon and if necessary get a second opinion. After being hospitalized five times in one year, this was a major victory for me to come out of surgery without a colostomy bag and it was a huge relief! I’m so pleased with the outcome of my surgery. I can honestly say, I came out of this experience a lot smarter and a lot better off than how I first entered it. The staff in Dr Davis’s office was friendly and helpful and so was the staff at Spring Valley Hospital, the medical personnel there was exceptional, and so was the care. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. Ten months off of work due to being so sick last year. It’s been eight months after my surgery, and I have returned to work. I feel like I’ve been given a new lease on life, and I have my life back, and it feels great! Once again, thank you to everyone who was involved in my care!

This is an outrageously arrogant doctor. Do not recommend to see him to anyone, moreover, have him to operate. It is so sad if someone has to be stuck with such a snob.

The man is strange and is very vague when answering questions. I was sent to him to have a lump in my breast removed and biopsied. He told me the entire lump would be removed. He even told me in my follow up appointment after my surgery he removed the whole lump! He did not!!! He only removed a shaving of tissue off the lump! I asked him several times and he lied to me every time!! He lied to my husband after my surgery saying he removed it all! I wanted it removed. I asked for it to be removed! The whole lump needed to be tested. I could have cancer for all I know!! I just had a mammogram and ultrasound that confirmed the lump is still there!! This is outrages! I wouldn't go to this surgeon if my life depended on it!

Dr. Davis is an excellent surgeon. He operated on my brother on a day when he had more than one surgery. After surgery he took the time to explain to me everything done. When after a year my brother had to go back to the hospital, Dr. Davis and a couple of his partners were ready, willing and able to visit him at the hospital and assure us that everything was going to be OK. I highly recommend Dr. Davis to my friends.

Dr. Davis is an excellent surgeon. He is very knowledgable and skillful. Post op, my recovery was quick. I would highly recommend Dr. Davis to everyone.

Dr. Davis created numerous problems beyond my breast cancer. Bad beside manner, lack of patient care, he is running a patient mill, get them in, get paid, get out! He did not explain anything well. He did not help me when I get sick from infection after surgery, I had to go to another doctor to have an urgent surgery to fix what he had done. Run away! Or at least pick another doctor at GSA.

dr.left hospital after surgery on my wife without even bothering to tell me how the operation went even though I never left the waiting room where I told him I would be. Not considerate of Family or patient.No respect for your feelings.Would not recommend nor would I recommend Spring Valley Hospital due to care of wife in pre op dept.

I went to him with abdominal pains. BEFORE he looked at any tests, he wanted to schedule surgery to remove my gallbladder! He was disheveled and odd. The back of his pants were wet as if he had peed himself. Should not be practicing.
